If you play normal and don't run through dark areas multiple time without reason you will be fine with the amount of batteries. Each one lasts for 100 steps.

Shotgun works as it should. Shooting stuff kills it, reloading takes long but works. Some proof about the problem would be helpful.

When i equip it and try to use it i get this error message (and cant reload it).

This game buggy as fuck, when you find the shotgun and ammo you can't even fire it, an error pops up and you can't shoot it, only ALT+F4, then again it says you have ammo but can't reload it. Similiar thing happens with the pistol sometimes. For example when you get your first pistol from the police guy, you can't use the ammo you get from him. The game does not register it.

Yeah I got a gun and got bullets but I'm basically leaning on the reload button for the pistol and nothing. Incredibly frustrating, I was kind of getting into the game. And then when you get caught by a zombie, the RELOAD text is still mocking you by flashing relentlessly.

I think the problem is on your side and some other people who have the same problem. I never had that bug with the newest version and i dare to say i'm not alone with that.

Perhaps there's something wrong with your RPG maker MV or you have to download the build again. Blaming the dev for that is not a thing cuz not everyone gets the same bug.
