Other games may call on libraries you already have installed, if you tried the above steps and you still have problems, I have no idea what else it could be other than hardware incompatibility.

What are your PC specs?
You can use Windows Key + R to get the "run" prompt, type in dxdiag to see your full specs

My specs as an example :
Windows 10 64-bit, Intel i7-8700k, RTX 2080, DirectX 12.

Have you shut down and restarted your computer since you installed the updates?

mavis is in the graveyard area first spot is first area at a little barn like structure and 2nd spot is in the 2nd area near the border wall between first and second areas

A couple things to try in the mean time -

Run as administrator.

Right click the game.exe, and select properties > compatibility > change high DPI settings - then uncheck the box for override high DPI scaling if it is ticked.

Under the same tab, try running in compatibility mode for windows 8 and windows 7.

I don't know what else could be the problem, if no other UE4 games run on your computer, I might think your GPU is dying.
