I think I encountered a glitch, I took the boat to the dock in the ice heroine's area after getting her and now I'm stuck on the dock unable to move. Also I can't just reload the save because I saved over it to see if restarting the game would fix it.

I remember playing another game that featured the purple girl from this game in it, Narshe is her name I think, it's been quite a while since I played this or the other game. Anyways does anybody know what the other game might be? I remember you summoning heroines from other games to help you in your quest and the dark elf or whatever she is from this game was about the only one that I really recognized. I'm pretty sure it was an adult RPG maker game like this one and featured h-scenes with pretty much all of the heroines but other than that I can't remember.
Spiral Clicker matches most of your description but I don't think it was an rpg maker game.

Not in the foreseeable future. If you didn't hear, Patreon cracked down on CypressZ's NSFW content on December 2019, so he basically had to rebrand as a SFW dev with a SFW game. His Subscribestar doesn't appear to have been updated since the crackdown, and they were planning to do a sequel to to Snow Daze. I don't know if he's trying to finish his SWF game first or what, but there's been no news on NSFW content for over a year, let alone Overwhored's sequel.

Enable "patch cache" in your rpgm settings. Always try different settings fo rpgm games. Some are in a way that stock setting can't open them unfortunately .
I'm stuck trying to get to Joy. Pretty sure I found the island...but there's no viable path to reach the tower.
Also, a few things. Going back to the camp in Illmater's kingdom softlocks me, and I haven't managed to figure out what the forgotten key actually does. Help?

Getting to the island requires using the teleport crystal in Ilmatar's castle, it's a one-way trip so you can't miss it. Make sure you talked to the tower mistress first or else the scene won't trigger.
Alright, just finished the game. Overall I'd rate it a 6.5/10. Not mind-blowing, but not a waste of time. Sucks that the sequel might never come out with what's going on with the creator.
Branda is the total MVP of the game though: Highest base health and standard damage, she self-buffs, she can take out bosses in 2-3 turns on her own with that multi-hit attack of hers, and she can heal the entire party with 10 WP? My final boss strat was just "keep Branda alive and let her handle it".
Though it does rase the question of if post-tower Overmind can even have kids anymore.
