Holy crap, what does one have to do to get her that mad?

Corruption is a process, not a loss of control. And none of these characters have any control no matter how much they perceive it. That's somewhat the issue here.I'm curious to see how this episode will go with Veronica. I think she's most interesting Carnation from a "corruption" perspective, where corruption is loss of control, or how far the character changes from where they started without intending to, rather than degradation.
...
This is one of the few VNs where the characters are complicated enough to wonder where they'll end up based on their characterization and player choices.
don't think anyone wasting their 50 dollars just to post here man best thing to do is waiti needs it D: 4.3 anyone can be the hero!

tbf the last update leaked almost instantly in like a couple hours tops; that being said, i dont mind waiting for the public release, TD and GIL deserve the supportLearn to be patient young padawan or you will never make to the Jedi Knight rank.
the one before the last one if my memory serves me right the last one took a good time to be posted heretbf the last update leaked almost instantly in like a couple hours tops; that being said, i dont mind waiting for the public release, TD and GIL deserve the support
Last update was focused on a more popular character though, so the hype around it could be a factor of the time it takes to leak here.tbf the last update leaked almost instantly in like a couple hours tops; that being said, i dont mind waiting for the public release, TD and GIL deserve the support
Very good post, though the dark but honest goth is Hana and the light but naive girl is MinaCorruption is a process, not a loss of control. And none of these characters have any control no matter how much they perceive it. That's somewhat the issue here.
Rosalind has been put into debt. She's gone to Kathleen to try to alleviate debt. She's willing to do anything because she has a single minded drive to help her daughter. Edwin can relate because his mom did something similar with porn while Rosalind is doing sex club shenanigans.
Felicia had no control to help out the art school close to her. Her husband wouldn't help her as he views her as a trophy wife only good for looking good and nothing more. Her motivation is independence and she has the drive to do it. What she wants is to be able to save what she wants over having someone control what she deems important.
Veronica has been put to debt up to her eyeballs and now she's about to lose everything in her house/gym. She's cornered. She wants to get out but sacrificed her marriage just to have this roof over her head. Her motivation is this little piece of independence and this roof over her head which she can keep.
Mina and Hana are meant to be two sides of a coin. That's the dichotomy at play with them. Mina is your dark but honest goth chick while Hana is your light but naive aspect. With some of the choices, you could have them see Edwin as a scumbag or possibly as a path to both but their characterizations and choices we'll have to determine and see as the last update lead to some interesting things near the future.
Harper is the most professional of the girls and the right hand to Dalia. When she says she trusts you, she's trusting you with her life. But remember that you've had interactions with her before that which allow her to better know you such as going at it with her, Dalia, and Kathleen as a reward as well as possibly knowing her when you go to meet Mina at her concert or finding her trying to make out with Lucy. You might be her boss, but you build a relationship with her that allows her to begin to know you better.
Dude, I don't know what you mean by "the most corrupting scene". Finding out Augustus brought his daughter into the business is pretty high up there. Rosalind flashing an old dude for pics is pretty corrupting. Veronica taking pictures in her gym and eventually collaring herself is corrupting. They're making do with a situation they were put into beyond their control. That's the point. Doing the best in a bad situation.
And yes, while Felicia has an exhibitionist streak, remember that when there's no crowd, she's far weaker since her hedonist ego isn't being stroked.

TL;DR
I think that the main thing isn't that this is all corruption. I think the word here is that this is "characterization". We're seeing all of the characters put through trials and see what comes out of it. Based on what you're saying, this is certainly one of the VNs I look forward to especially as all the characters bring something to the story and something to the table.
I wouldn't exactly call it "corruption". To me, corruption means losing sight of what's important due to hedonism, ego and lust. You could argue that Felicia is the most corrupted character in the game before she even enters the Club . She abandoned her hopes and dreams to become her husband's shiny toy because her ego and hedonistic lifestyle she adopted in college couldn't bear living in a small town. Despite having all luxuries in her life, she can't even financially help out the school without her husband's permission. She has to resort to most extreme measures to get back at her husband, because she'd be nothing without him. She's not really a person anymore, because she sold her soul a long time ago and it's too late to get it back. So I guess no matter what she does, she's not Felicia Ford, she's just Elias' shiny trophy.Corruption is a process, not a loss of control. That's not what the game gave us. Felicia comes from low class backgrounds and met her husband. She never gave up artistry when she does it in the Villa she goes to when she needs to be alone. What she realized is that she has no power by herself. She's looking to attain power denied by her husband to save and preserve art which is dear to her. Hedonism is a part of her and she's a showgirl to a certain extent but her character compliments her motivations and drives her to become a Club member so she can maintain her independence.I wouldn't exactly call it "corruption". Compare that to Vicky, who experienced much worse things than Felicia, and came out on top in the end. Yes, she's a nasty slut that did uspeakable things on camera for years, but her love for Edwin never faded. She was still a good mother to him, and they have a good relationship to this day. She never let her "career" get in between her and her son. I wouldn't call it corruption if she came out of it the same person. It takes a lot of character to not succumb to the pitfalls of the porno lifestyle, especially for women. No matter how much Vicky enjoyed getting railed, it was still a degrading and nasty experience, and she got out intact. With Edwin seeing her clips, she might have unwittingly created a monster, however. I would say Edwin is already pretty corrupted, even at the start of the game.
The same goes for Rose. I would say she's pretty "uncorruptible", unless she abandons her daughter somehow. She was dealt a bad hand, and she's doing everything in her power to save her family. As for her manipulating Edwin, he deserves everything he gets for working in such a place. None of the club employees have much of a moral high ground. Edwin and Ian had a choice, Rose didn't.
Veroinca is 50/50. I'd say she's pretty corrupted by her ego, as going so far as to join the Club is a pretty bad decision. It's obvious her ego and pride have impaired her decision making. On the other hand, it's admirable to fight for your dream and livelihood like that. The logical decision would be to cut your losses and move on, but when you put your blood, sweat and tears into something, it's pretty hard to let go. She's still fighting for her dream, and that's pretty badass.
