Well, the problem is that the people who do big business do care.
Some do and some don't. How many times are we going to go in circle with this exchange, where you'll keep ignoring what's repeatedly being pointed out to you, that not all people are the same and think and act in the same way?

I told me a few times about my (wrong) prospective. But now you speak completely out of your prospective.
Absolutely, and that's the very point. I have different opinion on this matter than you do. The rich people will also, similarly, have different opinions of Felicia. There will be people who are going to be willing to make deals with her, no matter how impossible to accept such possibility seems to be for you.

What is in the Club stays in the Club. Why shall they mix it with their business or personal lives?
It's funny you should say that, when at the same time you're using "what Felicia did in the club" as argument why people wouldn't want to do business with Felicia or have her in their social circle outside of the club. What just happened to that supposed separation? Why would they mix events from the club (which "stay in the club") with their business or personal lives? Outside of the club Felicia is a respected socialite and as such an excellent candidate for business and social gatherings.

If you are posing that yes, what Felicia did in the club affects how people will deal with her when it comes to business and personal lives, well, then you'll have to accept apparently there isn't a hard rule about never mixing these two things. Your own argument is based on this. You can't have it in opposite ways in two different claims you're making at the same time.

If I'd want one that had been a prostitute? So the fuck what.
Being able "to have almost any girl" includes the ability to have exactly the girl one wants. As opposed to what a narrowminded part of society will see as appropriate.
Just to sum this kind of arguments up. I know Caligula made his horse a Roman senator. Fuck, because he could.
Now tell me: was that a cunning plan of the horse to become a Roman senator? :ROFLMAO:
I hope you can see the similarity with your line of argument.

Did she show any prowess for business before? I thought her skill was to become a trophy wife. And part of the trophy wife appeal is the behavior and reputation. Have you seen how well Felicia behaves around Elias?

PS Damn, and those people call me stubborn.

Something you have overlooked among the patrons of the club is they will do things just to spite another member. It has happened before where one of the members does something just to piss off another member. Think it may have been taken his favorite girl just before he got there or something like that. So imagine felicia is here and offers a deal to which you would definitely turn her down because she's a whore, scum, whatever. Now imagine how many other readers would support/work with her just to piss you off. There is your WHY they would do it no other reason needed.

IMO imagining that Felicia has some great plan ignores a central theme of the story: Desperation. All three women in the contest are desperate in their own way for a shot at freedom from their current life. Felicia may present as more self-assured, but she's really just as desperate as they are.

Her scheme isn't some brilliant move of 8D chess; it is a Hail Mary.

i think the better question is what happened to the previous carnations AFTER the events
so far all we have seen are hints about the last years winner becoming a successful movie star but nobody not even ian or hana mentions what happened to the previous losers
i always assumed kathy paid them off some hush money and moved on but for some reason she has recruited lucy who didn't even make it to the final selection process
one could argue kathy keeps her around because her patrons like Isak likes her but if that was the case then surely at least one of these men must have liked one of the previous girls who happened to be a loser and could have requested kathy to make them a house girl like lucy
the most simplest conclusion is that the men don't care enough about the girls themselves and since they see fresh "meat" come and go every season of the games i don't think they care enough to help felicia with whatever she is trying to pull off
whether its some sort of blackmail or schemes that she is planning

They just need to show to Elias and may be (or may be not) to other high society people around the city that his wife is a whore. Which, I believe, is well on the way and Felicia did a lot to bring it upon Elias and herself. They don't need to do business with her or financially support her the rest of her life to fuck Elias' career and social status. Isn't it easy to understand?

1) Hana and Ian never mentioned any former carnation anyways;

2) the movie star is mentioned by Kathleen while speaking with the police chief;

3) Hana never met the movie star - it happened before she joined:

4) Ian doesn't give a damn about house girls and Carnations - he talked about Darius and Isla only because Edwin questioned him.

Dev Diary 88.jpg

Dev Diary 88

Hello all, TD here. It's been awhile since I've said that!

After some careful planning (and a bit of holiday malaise), I'm happy to announce that we have broken ground on the "do quantifiable shit" portion of development. Starting on January 13th, Ch4Up6 currently sits at 36 static images, 12 animations (GILs been working ahead), and 702 words. Normally we don’t report animations until they get slotted into the script, but we want some credit here otherwise it would be a meager report for 5 days time.

Anyway, a lot of energy has gone into planning this one.

This being an exhibition update, along with Ch4Up5’s smoldering climax, it is especially paramount we dot our i's and cross out t's. There's a lot of important character moments (w/ Vicky, Grace, Ian, Hana, the Carnations, the owners, Abel and Sophia) that we need to layer into the night’s timeline in a sensical and well-paced way. On top of that, we need to do exhibition 3 justice. It’s been way too long since the last one yet it was the seed that started the scenario. Exhibition 2 hit the broad plot points I needed it to, but I do feel like there was some wasted potential there in hindsight. There always is with any update, but these are the tentpoles the weekly schedules are built around.

What I’m getting at is we aim to be tactical by measuring thrice and cutting once. The exhibition event needs to be constructed in a way that they are a worthy spectacle that hits the character development we need it to, satisfy the people who enjoy playing them (me included), and stop it from running way from us.

That last part has especially weighed on my mind. Avoiding *needless* complication has been my missive when planning it all out. It is very easy for these things to become multi-tiered monsters: games on top of games that builds off the last game. However, I think the scenario can be constructed in a way that feels big and important, but doesn’t devolve into a myriad of branching side paths and outcomes that pidgeon hole the next step of the scene. My goal is to have the bulk of development time to be shown on screen for any single play through, while still retaining the magic feeling of CYOA.

What choices there are to be had, what guidance Edwin has over the events, they need to be sniper headshots. It’s a tall order, but that is also what keeps this fun.

With dev talk out of the way, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The reception and support of the last update was better than I dreamed. To be honest, I was worried that we had spent so long on a “side girl” update. We called it the “Victoria update” in our personal chats, but refrained from designated it that officially as that obviously doesn’t get most people going in the same way as something like the “Hana update” would. To have kept people’s excitement after the fact is reaffirming as an author. Five years ago I was afraid to have people read my work, but now it the single individual part of the creative process that I look forward to the most.

An adult power point slide show made with a third party doujin software as we are, this wouldn’t be the magic it is without you.

P.S. Hana GF havers and Sophia enjoyers… I see you. You’re seen.

Seriously though is there a way to save edit for the "fullest deal" with Rose? From what I seen I have to do a lot of specific things in the past for that, that I had no idea I needed to do, I tend to not replay games for one scene.

If you mean the "full deal" scene in the last update, then there's two simple ways:
