Due to reasons, I have just finished the Chp 4 Pt 5 update, which, story-wise is the best thus far imho, and I think it is only going to be more.... engaging, so to speak.

After this update, I have a feeling that the previous ones are mainly "introductory", as in world-building. We, players, got to know Edwin, the MC, and everyone (almost) that were important to him / played an important role during that summer period, and to an extend, revealing the "dark side" of those people (not necessary evil thing like Chuck, but also a well hidden/masqueraded corner like that soft side of Felicia despite of her gluttonous nature(yes, you read it right, gluttonous, remember the week 2 exhibition scene if Edwin forgo his urge and let Fel drank to her fill?). The main focus were to "reveal" stuffs to us. Laying the floor, Piling up the pillars, bricking up the walls, letting those bits and tits (huge one, mind you) complement themselves and forming a solid, compelling story structure to let things happen.

I have a feeling that the devs were somewhat satisfied with the background building, which, is amazingly solid. It is the time to move to the second phase... to knock down a wall or two to let us the players feel the shake of the whole building. I pretty much expect a roller coaster ride from now on lol.

Mina a blank sheet of paper? seriously? I think you should replay the early weeks and pay close attention to what Mina tells Edwin about her and her family.

I agree that starting from the last third of this game the writing has reached the absolute highs that almost none other game on this site can boast.

The art exhibition part and the Felicia's story was a true masterpiece in terms of plot, dialogues and branching of different paths. I still keep my earlier doubts about the sanity and feasibility of the Felicia's plan to join the Club but apart from that it's by far the best story I've ever read in an AVN.

It would make a great reading even without all the lewd parts (if it would be possible to imagine this story without the lewds ). And it only gets better with every update.

To be fair, I've just got to this point in the game, and it sounded like I was agreeing not to fuck around with random girls but I would promise to myself to work on creating a throuple which included Mina (might have been wishful thinking on my part!).

So, if we want to keep Mina open as a main girl then we will definitely have to be just fuckbuddies with Hana? Hana is pretty awesome but I don't want to let Mina go.

"Not cheating except with this one person" is still cheating. Especially when the person you chose to cheat with explicitly told you not to cheat on Hana with her, should Hana become your gf. The sheer surprise at the fact it'd produce obvious consequences is hilarious, ngl.

People are accustomed to the typical Harem game where MC can choose the most moronic choices yet have no consequences what so ever. Hence why the writing feels real, If i conciously choose to do something stupid, i wanna see the ramifications of that choice.

I think Ottoeight meant it as Mina is the most easy character to influence in whichever road you want.
Sure, she has her own desires and goals but she is the only one we get to see HOW our choices influences her actions besides Ian (if you get him to self-reflect). Depending on previous choices she will be willing to explore her sexuality with other girls even going as far as to start making out with Hana unprompted and suggesting a threesome this update or(as of now at least...) will just be content with limiting herself to exploring stuff with Edwin.

Personally, I don't know which path the developers will take Mina but I did find it curious how she is the character with the most different kind of outcomes this last hangout with everyone.

-She can look sad and express her feelings of jealousy to Edwin if he kisses Hana on stage, especially if you choose to to imply to her to not hang out with Pete when you kiss her while you are in the crowd

-Even if Edwin is not in a relationship with Hana she still will look sad unless Edwin delibaretly chooses to spent time with her instead of cheering for Hana and the band

-She can end up having sex with Veronica if Edwin tells her she is attracted to her

-As said before, if Edwin is in a fuckbuddies relationship with Hana, she can end up trying to seduce Hana in order so she can sleep with her/both of them.

-Finally if you choose to spent time with her whenever possible and end up choosing to go to the bar with her she will end up the night calling this event their "first date"

He deliberately choose not to prevent her old art-school being destroyed by buying despite Felicia making him very aware of how important said place was for her it if I remember correctly.

I don't want to start that discussion again. Coming to the end of the current update I can see that the Devs themselves are well aware how lame and fragile her plan looks. We'll see how the story unfolds. At the moment it is difficult for me to see any good in that.

It has nothing to do with Kat's jiggery-pokery, Elias would find out himself sooner or later (I would argue rather sooner than later). Moreover, my main question still stands: How can Felicia monetize all those suggested connections / influences? But I may be surprised as well as everybody if a feasible solution will be unfolded. Let's wait.

I am very pleased that this story which has started as a rather typical BDSM game has become an exciting journey to the depth of the human soul and subconsciousness. Also, normally I steer away from the Honey Select games but here the art is on the different level.

Kathleen: Oh Kath, a really nice antagonist for our MC. A functional psychopath and sadist, sophisticated (for someone scoring 10+ points on the "Hare list") and in a save position. Not someone to take lightly. Especially since we learn she has played her "games" for far longer than PC exists, using and abusing her charities and enterprises.
A welldone and rounded antagonist, since she also loves her husband as far as an empathyless sadist can love, but her biggest problem are not the MC or Ian. It is her own hungry antisocial tendencies. She has been successful with her schemes and shielded from consequences for so long that she becomes careless. Those knowing her well can recognise this, for example August does. He mentions to Otto that both Kath and Chuck´s "peculiarities" are getting stronger and hints at the possibility that their mental disorders are beginning to win.
I agree with this assessment, because Kath´s plan to take over the PC club is textbook antisocial, psychopathic behaviour. Even when everything runs smoothly in their favour, many psychopaths still want to inflict more hurt, gain more power and thrill.
Kath knows her planned revolt has only a chance to succeed with more support, so she gained help from Abel and Sophia. I find it poetic irony that Kath in her greed for power completely overlooks that Abel and Sophia´s plans for the PC club do not include her at all and that the two doctors will kick her out as well. To top it off, Abel himself warned, if convoluted and cryptic, Kath twice early in the game, if she was truly sure to do her revolt.
Inviting Elias into the club is another sign that Kath is starting to overplay her hand.

Abel: I am really interested what Abel van Doren´s story with the Club is, beside "helping" Kath. He loaths the PC leaders, most of it´s members and works towards said leadership´s downfall, esp. Chuck´s downfall. Testing Sophia´s sex drug is a joke, the 2 doctors have access to topnotch black ops labs with far less risks than testing it in the PC club. Able is a humanitarian, several examples are mentioned over the run of the game. An in-game example is when Abel wins a bet, he gives the money to Hana, who can donate it to a charity of her chosing. Something other members would never do.
Considering his special loathing of Chuck, as I wrote in earlier posts, I think Abel being in the club has either a deeply personal reason, maybe one of the women Chuck broke/killed was a relative or he might be a punchclock villain. Abel and his protege Sophia stick out terribly, being alone or in very small groupings most of the time. He does not really partake in the Club. That this does not arouse more suspicion is in my opinion the fact that most members concentrate on their fun and that Abel sometimes showboats, e.g. his offer of Sophia to Chuck. Which was not a real offer, Abel knew that Chuck has a deep-seated need to win something first before he can enjoy it.
Sophia was never in danger in that case. It also shows how well Abel and Sophia are informed on the people in the PC club. They know e.g. Hana´s situation with her mom, Chuck´s pathological need to win, Kath´s nasty disposition and how to use it for their own gain, a lot of the skeletons in the cellar, our hero´s situation and some things more.
It might be due to English being a second language for me so I read more into it than it means, but in one early scene it seemed to me that Abel knows our MC from a distance.
I theorise going to Abel and Sophia for help e.g. with Grace will bring him wholly on their side with the old Club later either dismantled and/or continuing on under new managment. It could be both since we know so few things about Abel´s motives.

Overall, this is the most emotional update in my opinion. Kudos to the Devs.
I know that future update will be focused on the 3rd exhibition, but I hope that the conversation with Victoria will not be postponed to the next game week.

Unfortunately, we do not have any information on when which films were shot. The only clue are the camera shots between 2009 and 2010. It is possible that after she ran away from home (for whatever reason), perhaps to become an actress (given her interest in movies), she suffered the fate of many others and had to shoot porn. The first 4 movies. Then she met Edwin's father and stopped. When he died the in-laws wanted nothing to do with either of us. Quite unusual not to want to see your grandson. Without any support, she then signed on with Donovan? Too far-fetched or illogical?

Where did the theory that Victoria was doing porn before Edwin was born even come from?
This isn't the first time I've seen similar comments and posts (was catching up on a thread from the release date of a new chapter).
The prologue came out in 2020, we can assume the action takes place in the present day. In game time, it's been 2 months or so. Some flashbacks with Victoria are dated 2009-2010, based on camera time.
There's a birthday scene in the game for Edwin, he turned 22. He is supposed to be 11-12 years old at the time of filming these particular scenes.
Unless he wasn't born 12 years old
