I think this is a bit of a stretch. What's also common between these three women is that they're in a situation where they don't have any real alternatives as a way to resolve their problems. I don't know where you get that she has "info" beneficial to the patrons and anyway even if she has information crucial to some patron, why she needs to get degraded to a bitch before benefiting off of sharing that Info with that particular patron/person outside the club in exchange for what she wants, clearly she wouldn't have any problem getting an appointment with them outside the club.

Felicia having secret knowledge is info which can be gleamed if you are pursuing her or at least being a very close friend. Pardon me, but it seems you extrapolate about Felicia without having played paths where she is a prominent character in. As for why she does not simply meet outside the club with the club members, ffive already gave some explanations.

While I know the intention behind your post, we can make an amend to "smartest person in the room" with "until Dr. Lundgren is in attendance". One of the few things Abel and Chuck agree on is that Sophia´s brilliance outshines even their own. Still, outside some questionable decisions in regards to the club, Felicia is among the most intelligent of the games whole cast.

She has (or she had, depending on your route) debts. When you're paying off debts, you need to spend money, make regular payments. And then you have less money for yourself and your child. When you don't have debts anymore, you have more money to work with. Thank you for listening to my TEDx talk.

Rather, the problem is that you're repeating this mantra after Edwin. Even during the first visit to Felicia's "safehouse", you as a player have the opportunity to say that her motives seem stupid, but he believes in her, or that she's just dumb. Yes, she's taking a risk. But I don't understand what you're trying to bring to the discussion by simply repeating what Edwin has already done many times.

To be fair, characters can and do lie. It's not unreasonable to evaluate independently whether their statements match reality as we see it.

What I find exasperating is that people insist her statements *have* to be lies simply because they disagree with her assessment of the situation. While I would rate the chances of Felicia's plan succeeding as very low (definitely lower than she rates them), it seems obvious that there IS a chance of it succeeding if everything breaks in her favor. We can have a debate about how good her odds are or what alternative options she has if we really want to, but I don't understand why it's so hard to accept that a woman who came from the mud fields to marry one of the country's more eligible bachelors might feel confident she could win over a few Club members if she can just get the right sort of access to them.

Eric (Police Chief) is a club member too, who respects him? Even Veronica fucked him over. Similarly Even when she becomes a club member (if she wins) she wouldn't have anything of her own and she would still be an invaluable trophy wife without the so called important information (the importance of which wouldn't change if she is a club member or not) that she has that (I will say it again) she could have used to her benefit if not easily then with a little bit of effort, if she would have been a real person she could definitely make anyone listen to her without joining the club with a little bit effort and her contacts.

The fact that there might be members of the Club who don't respect her membership isn't the right benchmark. The key issue is if there might be members who WOULD respect her should she become a member. Given how Chuck has reacted to her thus far, I think the answer to that question is at least potentially yes. Would that be enough for her? Hard to say without knowing more about what she's planning, but it would give her some resources to work with.

Why would she need anyone to respect her if she has something substantial for them? A club member respecting her shouldn't matter in what she can gain through giving what she has, clearly respect wouldn't increase the value of her offering at least not for someone with an IQ (unless the value of what she can offer is not as good as you are suggesting and patrons go headfirst into something risky, risking their position like she did, out of respect for her, which would be laughably unrealistic). For that reason she could have gained from what she can offer the same results without joining the club. Joining the club for something she already has should be out of the question, considering this is 21st century if you have something to offer you will be entertained whatever you are, trophy wife is no exception.

As for why she does not simply meet outside the club with the club members, @ffive already gave some explanations.

You mean he give some absurd explanation that she couldn't even get someone to listen to her?, but he couldn't convince me, she could have done that without risking her position and without losing much dignity as compared to joining the club. It's just this VN where someone like her would have to join a stupid club to gain from what she already has to offer.

Something else just came to mind:
So by default her joining the club should raise some eyebrows as to why she did it, clearly people would be more skeptical of her motives, they would know/believe that she is desperate for lacking something in life or just fed up of her situation in life (Elias situation) that should realistically decrease her negotiating position in a real world scenario vs if she approached the same patron with the same offering with a high head and zero sign of desperation.

The thing is, many of patrons there would see Felicia below them because she is a woman. I think even Kathleen said that at some point about her situation.
The only thing going for Felicia as i noticed is Chuck liked her belittling patrons on stage if you go there.
