Personally, I have a feeling there might be more to her story than simply being a former porn actress. She moved to a supposedly better studio, yet in the flashbacks we only see cheap, low-budget productions—which isn’t what you’d expect from a reputable company.

It’s too early to draw any final conclusions, but for now, that’s my impression.

Yes, I agree with that. While the focus of the game is the exhibitions, dealing with Victoria’s past is still an important factor in shaping the MC’s emotional state. I might be wrong since I’m new to the game, but that’s the impression I got after my first playthrough.

Also, here’s a minor spoiler: there will be a decision in the future between spending time with Felicia alone or spending time with both Mina and Felicia. My suggestion is to try both paths.

Before that is a decision about whether to spend time with Felicia at all. Let's see if Julius Kingsley does that before we start worrying about whether he should include Mina in the fun.

As for there being more to her story, there's definitely more since we know Chuck is involved somehow. Personally I hope his involvement is mostly peripheral; I think Victoria's story works best as a parallel to the MC's rather than as a direct connection. But we'll see what happens.

But that scene where Felicia lets Ian join in the fun with the MC while Mina is in the other room really needs to go. She seems like she genuinely cares about her, and I don't think it fits her character, even though she likes to plays the slut role.

Sure she's kinda begrudging about it, with Ian lording the club thing as a far, but in light of how close her relationship with Mina is characterized in later parts of the game it doesn't feel like "her" when I read it now.

I've learned from first hand experience that rewriting scenes isn't always for the better and that you can waste a lot of time getting to the same place with only a change of paint.

GIL has touched up parts here and there, but we're pretty committed to never dedicating dev cycles to "remastering" content. It's understandable some authors and artists want to put their best face forward as their competency increases, but the project getting finished is of a higher importance to us. Plus... where do you stop, you know? There are some devs that end up remastering their remasters. Even within the last couple of updates, GIL has upped his game by changing how he lights scenes.

Plus, it's kinda cool going back and having a time capsule for how we've grown and regressed creatively over time. Not cool enough where, if given all the time in the world, I wouldn't tinker the fuck out of the game... but I'll take some sentimental copium over the vicious cycle that is perfectionism.

EDIT: That saaaaaid... one day, once we have the full picture and God willing, I'll smooth some things out. Inconsistent style choices, a more standardized soundtrack, rework how some of the variables interact with scenes, cut the bloat from some scenes and be more descriptive with others... uh, yeah. Where do you stop, huh?

Hmm, you might be right about that. I did a bit of research and found a collection someone posted in 2023, so if there were newer renders, they’re missing here. My guess is that she made cheap productions until 2009 (the first four renders). After that, she started making videos under Donovan, and you can see that not only did the locations change significantly, but also her appearance—and her expressions. I know there’s a guy with a machine gun, but that’s probably just how the scene was scripted for that video.

Looking back at it, it's true that scene doesn't fit Felicia, but I definitely see why it's there, having a character that is easy to get in their pants is important for any new ADV, the sooner the player gets to see some action the better, even more when considering the attention span of a f95 user when there's no titties involved for a long period of time is basically 0. Felicia and Rose are those 2 characters that give lots of easy early opportunities for sex, while the other 3 take a bit longer to open up to the MC.

I have read your commentaries so far and as I said, great to follow a new player what and how he sees the game. now that you are in quite a bit a question: Do you see why I consider Hana, Felicia and Sophia the most interesting female characters and LIs in the game, honorable mentioning of Vicki, Dalia and Andrea? Mina leads those who are interesting, but not as much as the earlier mentioned characters, like Kath, Rosi and Veronica.
