Well, in the Pale Carnations universe it is a coin toss who we trust. Among the PC leadership only August is at least partially trustworthy, I would trust Kath and Chuck about as far as I can throw a 40 tons truck.

Exhibitions tend to be the biggest update at the time of release, though not by a huge amount. Between the free roam and the stage show there's a lot of important stuff happening, and that takes time to create.
For real, as much as i adore this game, the sex scenes "dialogue" is not what i'd choose as a highlight.

A possibiliy, but low probability. As has been mentioned several times before, Abel and Sophia have access to black ops labs. They simply do not have to test the drug in the club at all. But it would fit Sophia´s moral stance to use it in the Club, since there a majority of people are simply as... Why not swap two flies at once.
