calling a whore a "whore" is nothing bad in my eyes.
What you say is almost always overwritten by how you say it. Grace is a cunt for how she said it. She was using it pejoratively, using it as a weapon to get Vicky to do what she wanted.

And I'd agree with Turret about the Grace vs August comparison. August is a POS but he wanted to have a relationship with Hana. He's been fighting for it the entire game, and has made actual compromises (as far as we know) to forge it. Meanwhile grace offloaded her parenting responsibilities onto the nanny, and wouldn't even be doing any of this if Ian was already enrolled in school. Plus it's obvious in the Grace/Vicky convo that Grace is only doing this for the appearance of him being successful, as seen by all her snide comments about him doing something he actually enjoys (AKA vs him being happy). Classic narcissistic parent behavior. She's not in control anymore, so now she's all involved and "You know I love you" blah blah bullshit.

One of the funniest pics in the whole game! Kudos to GIL for hitting the expressions exactly right here:

I can understand "coldest" or "most loathable" (since it's subjective anyway) but selfish? Nope. And "Even August beats Grace as a parent easily" is just ridiculous.(...)Blackmail is bad obviously but she's done it with good intentions in mind...
Sorry but you are on the woodway here, Grace is one of the most selfish persons in the game! TD has been hinting at it with fencepoles that Ian adores history and his deepest work related dream is being a teacher or professor of History. Both Edwin and Viktoria rell this to Grace. But no, being a teacher or professor is not good enough for Grace Beaumont´s little boy. She "knows" better! When all she ever did parentalwise is pushing him out 22 years ago. Alice and Vicki were the moms he never had at home.
And August is a better parent than Grace, not that the bar is high when it comes to her. August is who he is, but unlike Grace who seems to think of Ian as a status symbol to show off, August fights for a relationship with Hana. It is quite obvious he cares about her, even if he is a latecomer at the "parent party". He might blunder quite a lot, for several reasons, but he is fighting for Hana and they also can reach compromises as we have seen.
Another very telling thing: August has a picture of Hana drumming at a concert in his office close by. In Ian´s home, you won´t find even a posed picture of him somewhere close to his Mom or Dad, not speaking about a picture with Ian having fun.

So Victoria doesn't know August it seems but she has seen Chucks sadistic side? Please tell me that dream of her being drilled on the couch wasn't Dr Chuck though it would be interesting because that would certainly be the thing to separate Edwin from Chuck and really make him want to burn down the club.

Did Victoria find out from Ian's mom everything about what we are doing in and that's why she tried to reveal us about her past? Because I thought her discovering everything was going to blow up in our face but we seem pretty chill.
I don't think so I think Ians mom was just blackmailing her with the threat of telling Edwin and Ian about her porn career and she already knows she won't cave to blackmail because she wouldn't betray Ian like that so she is pre-emptively telling them so Claire won't have power over her anymore.

Hey thanks, this actually worked. Although it only worked with software renderer. Directx or Opengl didn't help. Switched back to auto after the Vicky scene.
Interesting. That (any of the render options) didn't work for the two reports on our discord, but I'm glad it worked for you.

TD1900 One suggestion I have is some of the thoughts l feel too mean during dinner and a little before. Like when he says she will be gone, hopefully, in the park, thinking she is bent to his will and will do whatever she wants, while eating food, thinking Rosalind is stupid for taking his suggestions seriously(If I read this one right.)etc. For some other instances.

I just think some slight changes to nicer dialogue(more romantic) if you accepted deal, but not full deal. Just didn't like the harsh thoughts for a romantic scene and dinner when I have been nice to her the whole time.l, felt off.

Finally, when we were talking about school, we mention what was she like in high school ,then jokes around, before Rosalind reveals something to us, it was when standing up, it was an awkward transition in the dialogue, that might need some editing or small changes, cause it felt weird.

Haven't played day 2 of update yet, but am excited to see what happens, and I will probably sign up for the $7 or $12 this weekend to give you guys some support even though I played leaked version. Hope you take my suggestions above to heart.

Man, these small "mini" animations screw with my mind.

Like "Wait, did that character just blink for real or did I imagine it?!" :KEK:

Just one person't two cents, but i didn't get a reading like this of these scenes at all. The part about being gone was just a matter-of-fact and the "hopeful" part more for Rose's comfort sake than anything, the doing everything Edwin wants was more like uncomfortable realization for Edwin, in a sense that he regrets it doesn't allow him get to know the "real" Rose but he recognizes he can't do anything about it, and the observations about Rose taking the conversation seriously was just surprise, with none of that thinking she's stupid for doing that.

So... i don't know, i don't feel like it needs any changes, really. It can be nice already as it is, and the tone is largely in the player's mind, evidently?

Well, I guess that is your view which isn't wrong, but to me it reads bad and mean to me, which isn't my favorite, especially when I am trying to be romantic.

I get and understand your point, I just don't see it from my end unfortunately.

BEST UPDATE OF THE YEAR
absolutely amazing
i just played eternum's update it was good too
but for me this update tops it
there is alot of sex in the game but the romance scenes with fel, rose and veronica in the last three updates including this one truly shows the diferance between sex and making love
Really agree, esp the last point. The Felicia scene in the previous updates in particular was just yeah, like fuck these guys have some real insight into sex and women. SO many AVN's I think to myself "has this writer's exp come from watching anime?". I'm blown away by the quality of PC, and every time I play it I find it hard to enjoy any other AVN afterwards for some time.

I bring "glibness" to content in general. It's the only alternative to the enjoyment of something becoming peripheral to an identity formed around it (fandom), which sooner or later becomes self-hatred finding expression in endless "scammer dev" posts or much worse. Fwiw I enjoy playing yalls game when I have time to kill/fap. Happy new year et cetera.
sorry, but you jerk it to a game like this? :HideThePain:

(...) Grace is a cunt for how she said it. She was using it pejoratively, using it as a weapon to get Vicky to do what she wanted. (...)
Pejoratively yes, because she's disgusted and/or annoyed by her but I wouldn't say that she used that word so that Vicky would do what she wanted. That's what blackmail was for.

Anyway, saying that she's doing it for herself/for appearances is overinterpretation. I would argue that wanting her son to be more responsible and successful is a sign of more caring about him than Victoria's hedonistic approach where she says "let him have fun while he's young". That's easy for her to say when she has a successful and intelligent son who's to become a doctor while Grace's son wastes his time on whores/sluts with some photography on top. What mother (who isn't a whore) would like her son to be a leech/parasite that thinks about sex only?

If she really was the person you claim she is, she would have never allowed Ian to go to a public school (imagine what other snobs would say when they would learn Grace's son wouldn't get best education available) or for Ian to be friends with Edwin or for Edwin to come with them on vacations or for letting Victoria a whore to come to Thanksgiving even though she clearly despised her (the answer here is obvious, Ian asked her to invite Victoria so she did because she loves his son). Nothing adds up here unless we assume that she loves her son (she even says so and I see no reason to doubt that considering the above).

Grace had plenty of chances to tell Victoria what she thought about her but she didn't until she felt she had no choice. She was amicable the whole time when talking to her except for that one outburst (but she quickly recovered herself and became calm again) which I interpret as a sign of love (maybe warped but definitely love, she's clearly jealous of Victoria).

As for August, again it's overinterpretation. From where I stand it seems to me that August wants a successor and since he doesn't have the alternative (AFAWK) he went with Hana. He had appeared only recently ignoring her daughter most of her life. I'm not saying he's not genuinely pursuing her affection (he obviously is and he cares about her) but that "entire game" that you mentioned is what...? A year + 3 weeks (at best since we don't know when his pursuit started)? Meanwhile Grace cared for her son his entire life, that it wasn't what Ian wanted is irrelevant.

Not to mention that if letting your daughter work in the brothel dressed up like this is an affection of love then I have bad news for Hana:

And it was August's idea...

P.S.
BTW, I wonder what fluids of Hana did August use to test for DNA to see whether Hana is his (I refuse to believe that he used her hair) :]. Because let's be honest, knowing the industry Hana's mother was in I'm sure he wouldn't go by Hana's mother word only.
