I think we'll just have to agree to disagree in this one. To me August has yet to show actual love towards Hana as of now all of his acts of "love" have been conditional and please don't mention him going to her concerts because if that's the case the half of the club by this point apparently feel paternal love towards Hana xDAs I said, at first(!) August wanted simply a heir for his Club, along the way he started loving her. He questions some things he has done when it comes to Hana. If he did the right thing to bring her into the club leadership, if he should have not done so. As I wrote in an earlier post, since he had no experience with parenting until coming into Hana´s life, he blunders a lot.
There are several scenes in game which show that August has started to love Hana, not just the idea of a heir. Also, depending on which path we play, there is considerable thawing of relations between August and Hana. She calls him dad a lot more now, even if "creep" and other attributes still feature at times.
If he truly loved her he would helped her unconditionally it's not like he doesn't had the means to do it and she is in a VERY difficult situation, he doesn't want to because he needs her more and is not willing to risk giving away something without getting anything in return, therefore he pretty much blackmails her into spending time with him by the fact that she has now accepted to be part of the magament of one of the criminal enterprises he runs. Also, as much as we now (if I remember correctly) their connection started because Hana swallowed her pride and went to ask the person her mother despises the most for financial help because she is in a terrible situation no one would want to be in and what did her "father" said? "I'm not giving you anything for free, get in this whore outifit and bartend my brothel" and "Oh, you need more money? You better accept inheriting my shares of this place and running it by yourself in the future!". Like I said before, if he truly loved her he would've been willing to help her unconditionallly, this whole charade to me it's actually more evil than just plainly refused her after all according to himself he didn't owe her mother anything since she lied.
