Considering the text next to the image is: "Just felt like it." I'd imagine Veronica just messaged Edwin and that's her answer to the MC asking what she's messaging him for; during the Felicia date she also calls you at one point just to talk and kill some time, so this wouldn't be the first time Ronnie has done this.
Also, at least to me, she left the impression that she's over her ex-wife at this point

I found a very minor bug (only could be found with a mod or code inspection). In week 2, before the exhibition, you have a choice of helping Emma. If you do help Emma, there is some text that is supposed to display after speaking with her. The if condition that guards this is

(note the period at the end of "fulfilled" should not be there). It doesn't seem to impact gameplay at all, but you do miss out on a line of text that says "Hopefully Ian would be here soon."
Nothing huge or breaking, just some text that has gone largely unseen.
