That is easy to say why you find no clear answer concerning the release version. So far no one outside TD and GIL knows when they release. Currently we do not know what decision they reached, if they release early or late.

The poll has been started almost 3 weeks ago, and this split/no-split discussion has been going on for more than 3 months. So I think it's okay to ask about the decision today. The short answer is: no. The long answer is: the poll in their Patreon page was against split the update in two, but there isn't a definitive decision about that.
