I think the main character should have sex with his mother. Victoria fills that role, but I think it's not enough. Actually, when you play the game, you often wonder why there's no incest.

Or maybe Victoria dies in some accident and the protagonist's mother takes on the role of Victoria.

If asked to beat the MC up, Jacob prolly gives some pointers to him in order to fake the whole thing.
But if asked to kill, I think Jacob will do the job but will do it as painless as possible.

So, I take it this update is entirely dedicated to Rosalind? Because no one else had a full scene (a couple of partial scenes were for a couple of characters). But I'm not sure her scene with Killian was in this update or the previous one. And that update ended strangely right on a rather significant event. Is this really the full version of this update? Or is it some kind of intrigue that players are supposed to remember and keep for almost a year until the next update?)

I truly hope there will be a way one day for me to support you, because you delivered once again a fraking great update!(y)
Very interesting plotlines, twists and the cut off point cliffhanger, Wau! And verdammt, is the story getting darker with each update.

Just a few review points:
August - The irony is thick in that a godfather of the city is the most decent and sane of the club leaders by comparison. While the bar is not high given that Chuck and Kath are absolute sinkholes of humanity, still... It would not surprise me if one day comes a time even August is pissed off at what is happening.

Kathleen - Great render work by GIL and dialog by TD. This update revealed what I theorised before. Kath loves her husband as much as a sadist can, but beside that fact has left the moral event horizon far behind. What we saw latest in the cliffhanger, that is not only sadism, Kath is definitely evil. While the hints have been there in earlier updates, you could have argued that she is "just" a hardcore sadist, but this update lays the rest of doubt to rest.;)

Chuck - He lets fall the mask finally in this update too. Elias might be a fool, but some things Kath and Chuck mention about him and his life is strong tobacco. Kath and Chuck are truly dangerous and even unhinged. No wonder August is wondering about this.

Sophia - What an update for her! Great render art and the dialog just wow. Thanks for confirming my theory about Abel and Sophia having a Daimyo-Samurai-like relationship. The way Sophia bowed during the excuse hints strongly toward it. It does not seem Sophia´s life was easy at all, going by some dialog and personality hints.
Also our hero and Sophia´s flirting, wonderfully wonky and fitting two strange nerds. Interesting tidbits about Sophia, Abel and Chuck. Very much hope there will be a path those two come together in the end, a foundation is laid down with this update.

Hana - A very nice update for the Hana girlfriend players. Also some hints towards the corrupting influence of the club. While Hana still has her personality, there are seductive situations, like the money suitcase.

The Club itself - More and more the "special members" do not look like some "simple" well-connected deviants and more like a secret organisation. Welcome to Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn ;):LOL:

I mean, I'm not sure he'd ever be killed. Edwin's predecessor by all accounts was far worse, and he managed to get away with it. Edwin at worst is annoying and insubordinate. Which is tame compared to what the other guy apparently did. Not to mention, she'd need to get the go ahead from Chuck and August. MC starts off with Chuck on his side, due to past history. And August is "Meh" at the start, but you can sacrifice earning some friendship points with the Russian chick to get him to trust you and be on your side too. Effectively gaining two boomers on your side. So in the end, the hag would keep hagging.

This is of course, one broski's opinion :D

The visuals started being great around the time Chapter 4's first update was released, I believe. You can tell the clear difference especially during the flashback scenes of the previous update. It's night and day compared to Chapter 1

Not a good start. Immediate error screen on main menu. Redownloaded the game and the issue remained.

"Exception: Expected an image, but got a general displayable."

Had to delete this line to make it to a working main menu.

In the previous patch the game was a mess too, with constant out of memory problems, despite having 64 GB of RAM and 16 GB of VRAM. Had to edit out problematic lines from the scripts as I played. The camera graphic was the main culprit.

AMD GPU, Windows 11, 4k resolution, there is something about my setup this game, and only this game, really doesn't like. Anyone have similar issues?

I played this thru when it was first released and it was absolute fire. I made the perfect character choices based on what I'd done before to define my character and how I wanted people to see me. The problem now is, remembering the choices which seemed perfect. I'm clearing some space for this to play thru the start again.

Can anyone suggest the best setup in relation to the character choices?

There must be something with your setup and/or software creating this hiccup. I have an i7 8700, Win10 and run this gem of a game with internal graphics without the slightest problem.

Have you tried with a different renderer? Hold shift while starting the game and it should show you the Graphics Acceleration menu, pick another renderer and see if it works better.
