Yep, I pasted the gallery unlocker in the game folder and launched the game, but nothing changed. I thought it was because I also had the walkthrough mod, so I redownloaded the game without any mod, pasted the gallery mod again same thing
. I only have the scenes that were already unlocked, the rest are still locked.do you think the game will continue past the last challenge of just end im loving this premise
Understood. Correct me if I'm wrong. You see the file name and click on it (left-click). A new window then opens showing the file's contents, which start with these strings:
init 9999:
#Felicia ...
You should then do the following:
1) Hover over the file name and right-click.
2) In the context menu, select 'Save as' and choose a temporary folder to save the file to. (Do not try to open the file in the browser).
3) Copy the saved file to the 'Game' folder.
4) Restart the game.
The game runs without any problems. Did you unzip the new game in the same folder as the old one and not delete the walkthrough mod?

Eh. The appeal of a visual novel, at least for me, is the choose-your-own-adventure feel.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the gating for any of the scenes in this update are illogical or hard to achieve. Maybe Lucy doesn't need to be tied so much to the Felicia date (I might change that), but Hana / Mina / Kathleen splits are just "focus on them" stuff and the Allison/Sophia paths are determined within this (single) update.
I can understand not feeling satisfied, it's why stopping where we did was a difficult choice, but big picture the exhibition 3 free roam is a drop in the bucket. For anyone who finds it lacking, I'm hoping the experience rounds out once it's just part of "playing Pale Carnatons" rather than "playing the update", y'know? Sure everything could be linear, but as it stands, Edwin can potentially have sex 3 times BEFORE the exhibition games even start. The "magic of CYOA" aside, tonally it'd be kinda weird to play grab ass with Kat, fuck Hana, fuck Lucy, and also comfort Felicia within that span.
That last part isn't necessarily related to your complaint, but just a thought.
The animations on my port is not running, do anybody know how to fix it? (I'm running it on android)

I already mentioned in some of my posts Sophia´s "upbringing" and that we probably do not want to know exactly how this upbringing was. I might have worded it too deftly, but I think Sophia´s upbringing included such "fun" events like personality imprints, specialized training and other black ops stuff.
I doubt the free roam glitch was truly one. Sophia came to apologise on her own initiative and tried to hide it from van Doren. What better way to play up something Abel probably saw more than once over time?
I believe at the moment Sophia was a brilliant, heavily eccentric girl already under duress from her surroundings when Abel found her. And he began to hone her to be a brilliant scientist, his right hand, sword and successor., everything else was "whatever".
While van Doren is using her against even more vile persons like Chuck and Kath, what van Doren or his specialists did to Sophia is reprehensible. Since she remembers good times fondly, maybe the first years with Abel were actually good ones (like them being out hunting together) and only his war with Chuck, which seems to have become much more fierce in the last couple years, "forced" his hand. Maybe she even volunteered without knowing what it would include.
Whatever was done, we can see that the "real" Sophia is trying to get out or get some living compromise with all parts of her. I think this is happening because she is coming closer to be Abel´s successor, which means relying more on herself, since Abel needs a capable successor.
Some of her talk and behaviour from the club bar meeting makes a lot more sense now. Sophia might be in the driving chair most of the time, but when needed the cold, calculating killer comes out.
As I wrote before, I truly hope that we get an ending with our hero and Sophia being together. Two damaged souls getting at least some sort of happy ending.
While it’s probably more in character for Edwin to invite people inside, I would have liked the option to just close the door with Edwin saying “fuck off” as he did so.

Yes, I can see the unlocker.rpy file, and I can play the old saves. When I unzipped the new game, I created a separate folder with no mods added.
Can you tell me what type your unlocker.rpy file is? Is it an .rpy or .txt file? Because for me even if it’s .rpy, it still a .txt document.

I agree with you on the CYOA feel. The story would be a lot less impacting if you could get all paths, choosing your way should bring about specific paths with content no/few other paths have. Since you mentioned the Allison/Sophia "split", I find it fitting, especially in light of the trajectory our hero's life takes with this choice. Allison very much embodies the corruption of the Club and what you need to flower there. Sophia is on the other side opposing in most ways the club and what it stands for.This choice should have distinct outcomes!
Likewise with the Hana/Mina/Lucy/Kath choices, PC is not a harem game, so you should and must decide who you focus on. Not trying to somehow time it so you can bang anything female surrounding you.

What? Rose has some of the most prominent, front-loaded content in the game. She's the first branching path you can enter, she's the first official carnation you get introduced to (Felicia doesn't count imo), and for a while she had the most scenes in the Memory viewer. You can be sad she didn't get much this update but don't act like she's being neglected lol.Thanks for the reply and I get it. Sounds good on Sophia being the most important and I did like her non lewd scenes too. I also get it may be hard to include everything cause of time and other constraints. And I will be sure to check out new animations for rose interview when I replay later.
I just feel for Rose, last update, her "prominent update" wasn't as prominent as the other main girls, who got full dates and more it feels like, she had to share time with others, and I feel like my problem isn't that she didn't have any lewds or something alike, my problem is you get nothing until that one little image at the end. I just think a quick phone call, or text, or a small run in of her getting ready at the club, even just a few renders would of mattered and made me the happiest. Cause even Veronica got a text, Felicia got a small meet up if we choose. Hana and Mina had dedicated sections. Where Rose, is just completely absent, where all I want is just any interaction to feel like she matters, cause it just feels like she doesn't and always gets the short end of sex scenes or time or dates.
But I guess it doesn't matter and nothing will be added and Rose will just be a "side girl" disguised as a main girl.
While you pretty much hit the nail on the head, Edwin basically tries to be as polite and level headed as possible, because as a kid he was the opposite and that caused problems for his mother. It's probably a habit now to control his emotions because he doesn't want the intrusive thoughts winning and causing problems indirectly for others.
I don't think he was even mad at Sophia and Van Doren, just didn't like that he was being used for a pissing contest between Van Doren and Chuck.

Thank you for the screenshot! It's useful. An RPY file is a script. When Renpy builds a game, it converts RPY files into RPYC files, which it then reads as the generated executable. Therefore, the 'unlocker.rpyc' file should appear in the game folder. If there is no 'unlocker.rpyc' file in the game folder, it could mean that your system doesn't recognise RPY files and can't handle them.
Please check your game folder again. Does it contain an 'unlocker.rpyc' file with a 'c' at the end (not 'unlocker.rpy')?
Why is all the dialog in quotation marks? Haven't played this game in forever, so I'm hoping there's a ton of new content that takes me at least a few hours to get through, especially since I'm starting over from the beginning. I'm curious where the animated stuff is since there's a tag for it. I've gone through several scenes now and none of them have been animated. I've come across one scene so far that's animated and it's that whore of a teacher and there's no sound at all.
