Hi again!
You seem to misunderstand my reasoning. I am not against throuples, far from it, but in "Pale Carnations" the general situation points towards lasting(!) throuples only on corrupted paths. The characters involved, as mentioned Hana, who has no problems with some threesome fun, but has made it clear from early on (birthday party) that she prefers exclusive longterm relationships. There is a reason why the game counts if Edwin cheats on "girlfriend Hana", that will have consequences.
As said, Hana is open to threesomes, be it with Mina or maybe even introspective Ian, but that is for fun. If Mina tried to get "more Edwin" such a throuple would turn sour rapidly.
I agree that the throuple is doubtful to happen but let PervyParadox dream in peace

chuck doesn't seem bothered when MC and Ian get beaten up by oliver
even if you're in very good terms with chuck
he just brushes it off and lets august handle it
though august did it for the club at this point he is more likely to protect the MC than chuck from any physical threats
Never had that problem, "social chameleon" is a really helpful trait in the environment our Edwin is in now. :) And I usually involve August with the Oliver problem from the get go or latest by the poker game.
But I fully agree with you that we should not trust Chuck at all unless playing assho... Edwin.

but i do admit that it's kind of strange that we don't hear anyone talk about previous carnations and house girls
even though both hana and ian has been around long enough
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the house girls are "August´s territory" and he runs it like a business. He doesn´t care what the girls are up to in their freetime as long as they deliver when on the clock. And those house girls who do not work off debts, they can leave employ in the club when they want. That is a non-issue. Darius and Isla are a special case, since he tried to blackmail Kathleen. And we know how Kath is.

Do you think the blackmail thing is true? I think Kathleen lied there, she has a hand on his disepeareance almost for sure but I doubt he blackmailed her, no idea what he did to make her pissed though

I too am not sure that Darius blackmailed Kath, but that is the info we have so far. I estimate if he truly blackmailed Kath about Isla, then she must have been a girl working off debt. Otherwise who would have cared if Isla just left? The house girls are implied to earn quite well in PC, so Ersatz for a leaving housegirl is not problematic for the club.

But maybe Darius did blackmail Kath not about Isla, but about blowing the clubs cover? Even a sleazeball like Darius might have had a stronger conscience than Kath, but not enough to exceed his own greed. This would also align with a hint we can get if we have good relations with August, who mentioned the need for secrecy even if you have local police and administration in the bag. And that they have had some trouble with someone who could not keep his mouth shut. This might be Darius.

In that case I am sure Darius is watching the radishes from below, if he did this.

This might be a repeated question but does anyone know how Hana's anger affects her? Is it better to lower it or make it higher?

My guess is that lowering her anger is better for seeing a more poised Hana. Other than that, I have no clue on how this variable might really affect the story.

I think that Hana's anger and Felicia's confidence variables haven't triggered any story changes yet.

For most players it will be better to lower her anger, because Hana becomes more confident, more rational, more poised the lower her anger is. It also seems to be influencing her relations with her parents positively. The "Kimber eprsode" shows that clearly, where a low/zero anger Hana tells you that "God, I hate that she brought that out of me."

I think that Hana's anger and Felicia's confidence variables haven't triggered any story changes yet.
Not any obvious changes, but I am sure we will get situations where these scores play a role. We already have had impact from main traits, e.g. if we become friends with the girls, what Ian is willing/wants to do, if Allison and Sophia are available at the orgy. So it is only a question of time. And it is pretty sure Feli´s confidence score will play a role how well she recovers from this night.

It seems to be her attitude towards the club, mostly, in the sense how much pissed off she is at what they're doing to the women in there. Her anger drops if she can rationalize it on some level and/or come to terms with it (and also with August)

So, if you want to burn the place down, it's probably counter-productive to have Hana grow to think it's not such a big deal after all.

Quite right, but Hana´s anger score also applies more broadly. It encompasses her parents (August more than her mom, but still) and partly her surroundings. We see examples like low/zero anger Hana talking with Dalia, that this Hana curently makes some small, but still good changes for the better inside the Club.
It is telling that zero anger Hana dislikes her old, angry self coming up when Kimber needles and annoys her, when she is just trying to help Kimber getting out of the hole she dug herself in. If you want to see the Club survive in whatever form, it is good to lower Hana´s anger when you can.
If you want to destroy the Club no matter what, you want to raise Hana´s anger. But this can bite you in the ass later if you are pursuing Hana, because high anger Hana is most probably not the right type of woman for our hero.

There's also a reason why Mina literally propose a throuple to Hana after the party in the update before the last one. As for the birthday party, I keep repeating the same argument but let's write it again: characters and circumstances evolve. Just because Hana said she prefers exclusive long-term relationships doesn't mean she'd totally exclude a throuple with Mina and Edwin as a (oh wait) long-term relationship, exclusive to two people she is attracted to and like.

The reason why the game counts if Edwin cheats on girlfriend Hana might just be because it's too early in the story, and she doesn't even know about Mina and Edwin when the choice to be her boyfriend comes up. With the 3 million branching paths there is in this game, it's fair to assume that, while cheating on girlfriend Hana might lock up a possible throuple with Mina, keeping her as a fuckbuddy doesn't lock up that possibility, because their relationship is still sort of open to changes.

And no, the general situation points towards lasting throuples on choices related to Mina and Ewin's relationship, Hana and Edwin's relationship, Hana and Mina relationship, and Mina bi-curiosity points (maybe also Hana anger points). I don't know where you got this "throuple only on corrupted path" idea from. I literally don't understand where it's coming from.

Yup, this is why I rarely write in here. You guys are hopeless.
I'm done.
Not even going to search for a fun image to represent how done I am.

I don't see where the general situation points towards lasting throuples here... You are ignoring the previous iteration where the throuple failed or the Hana GF path checking for every time you cheat on her.

A threesome or more is guaranteed to happen in future content but no more than that imo, I just don't see what's the point of HanaGF path if there's just another path that's gonna give you a two for one?

The only way I see this working is in a corrupted way, in contrast to a more normal, loving relationship to the normal paths.

I guess I am also hopeless then :ROFLMAO:

Don't know why you calling me hopeless when I'm saying we should drop this and let you have your dreams, if you felt I was making fun of you I apologize.
And when you have a realistic story that points for a thing you want not happening I will say it's a dream, but that's nothing wrong with that, but after playing this game if you think a happy throuple relationship is a "normal" relationship I'm not sure what to tell you, maybe in countries where having more than a wife is normal, but Pale Carnations is set on the US, so yeah threesomes for fun can happen and Edwin, Hana and Mina will happen, but there's nothing in the game that makes us believe a happy lasting relationship will happen, on the contrary, but I rest my case, once again You are free to wish/dream what you want for the story to take us.

I do but my point there is that if you allow for a throuple path with both being ok and no consequence, you are kinda ruining both exclusive paths since both Hana and Mina act completely different there.
I agree and it's hard to believe that this game even will have a real happy ending, a throuple ending when everybody is happy and no consequences is even harder to believe IMO.

Since the characters act completely different on their exclusive paths, it doesn't sound like the throuple alternative ruins anything here, but it's instead just that, an alternative with differently acting characters.

See, that's where I don't agree, characters have to be consistent in all routes, if they start acting contradictory you are ruining them.

Hana asking for exclusivity if you want to be a real couple, but then in the throuple path if she ends up being ok in just including Mina in the relationship that to me directly contradicts what both Mina and Hana are in their routes, just make a choice then where it's clear that both choices will lead to a normal relationship but one of them will include Mina as well.

The second choice was always about sex, no feelings attached.
