Why would kathleen be vindictive to the protaganist? If anything, she should be grateful to him for everything he gets out of the trio

It is how we play the MC. There is a reason why the main stats for Kath are the relationship and trust(!) points. With low trust you can already get an early game over, because then she doesn t want you to work in the club any longer. Later in the game, low trust might father worse results. And I estimate that a lot will hinge on who we like and trust as the MC (and the other characters trusting you) during the endgame.
It could also be occur as a test of loyalty to Kathelean. Kathelean is aware of the MC mom porn past. kathelean may also inject the mom with the sex drug to lower her inhibitions leading to any number of events that are lewd in nature. With the type of debaurchery occuring in this game I have no doubt that it is going to become very dark and would put nothing out of the realm of possibility.
also if the mother is supposed to be his moral compass and what he is trying to use to keep from going to the bad part of his personality then it would make sense that by presenting a situation where his mother his corrupted by the MC then he would no longer be chained from his real personality which is something I think Kathelean desires.

Wow, This is certainly one of my current favourite games. Every update just gets better and better. And this being a 5 star game from the start.
I feel the MC slipping into darkness and it's frightening.

This was such a great VN. Great writing. What first drew me into testing this was hot blondes in the banner and they surely didn't fail my expectations. What a lovely characters. Mina especially is very close to my dream girl and it was clear from the beginning that she'll be my final choice. Such a bubbly and cheerful character. Though lately Hana has also been rising fast in the ranking and has toppled Felicia from the 2nd position.
For a HS game graphics were great and I took screen captures like a madman while playing. It took two long days to play this through, so I'm happy with the length, especially when it seems that we're not even close to the finish. MC happens to be almost my lookalike which was fun coincidence.
Setting and story was interesting, though some scenes were bit too dark for me as I'm not into BDSM and humiliating.
What I'm most eager to see in the future is:

Seems to me the worst case scenario is you either suck at your job or you're too moral at which point she'll get rid of you or transfter you to a position of less prominence. Ive yet to see any reason for her to want to get revenge on the protagonist.
I have Been reading past posts regarding incest. It has left the answer as clear as mud. I will say I know of other games still on pateron with incest.

I will make it clear as glass:
There is no incest in the game and I honestly do not see any incest happening in the future. (Unless something drastically change)
The MC does have a mother in this game, but there is no sexual desires/tensions etc. between them. This game is kind of on the realistic side, so none of the normal incest tropes apply. The mother is also smoking hot, so there are obviously some wishfully thinking regarding possible incest.
Having said all that. The general theme and genre of the game is very dark, so I guess it's not outside of the realm of possibility that incest might occur in some kinda fucked up forced way. But there is honestly no sign of any incest on the horizon, between any of the related characters. (There are actually quite a few family relations in the game, but nothing pointing to incest)
TLDR; Currently there are no incest with no clear indication that the game will go there at any point in future.

If you read my previous post as well. in My humble opinion something has to happen to destroy the Mc belief in his mother so he loses that function of her as a moral compass. I honestly could not think of anything that was that dark and depraved other than him having sex with his mom. That combined with kathleans sadistic nature was the only thing I could think of. I also believe Kathleen wants his full sadistic nature to be unleashed and by the end some pretty nasty stuff is going to have to occur.

The way I see this is that he is not watching this in any way for his own sexual pleasure.
1) It's a reminder to him what his mom did for him.
2) In the context of his new job, it's a reminder that the girls at the club is still also just humans like his mom.
3) He is also a slightly fucked up individual, hiding somewhere in his mind.
Him watching his mom is definitely disturbing, but it looks like it's therapeutic for him? maybe?
We can see the MC thoughts and he never had a sexual though about his mom. And he does think about life while he watches her. (Telling us the player what he's thinking). Unlike his fantasies about Ian's mom. Or Ian's fantasies about the MC's mom.

IF it were to happen in the game (a big IF), I agree with you, it will be under a forced/blackmail type of scenario. I can not really see the MC losing his faith in his mother. He already knows what his mom did for a living (even though his mom does not know that he knows), so in my view, there is nothing they can tell him about his mom that can shock him. (How much worse can it be then to know your mom is a porn actress)
Personally I do not see it happening, but if it were to happen, in my view it will be a forced type of action.
From watching her on screen to watching her live on stage. She definitely has a big role in the future updates. Her hesitation in the beginning about Uncle Chuck and her being in just a towel in front of Ian and being very friendly with him. Ian having already banged his maid who has been taking care of him from childhood would surely have Mc mom in his sights. The developers can play it safe without having incest to avoid patreon censor. Mc gets to bang Rosalind who reminds him of his mother. I think Kathleen/Chuck/Ian would bring her into the club.
Im just saying that the anchor to keep Edwin from going really dark is his mothers sacrifice. You destroy that there is nothing to keep edwin in check. That is what kathelean wants.

MC is already thinking about his mom when banging Rose, but not in a good way. (More like shamefully)
Ian might bang MCs mom as revenge for Mina. And it might involve the club.
I do think there is a 50/50 possibility we might see sexual action with the MC's mom (I hope not), but I don't see it happening as incest.
The only thing I can see making edwin lose his shit is if they put his mother into bondage and then gangbang her with the mother being a willing participant that is enjoying it.
