I almost did not give enough shits about your post to answer, but yours was one of my first today and I though I would humor myself.
Who do you think you are to try and tell other people who they should or should not support? Obviously, none of the Patreons agree with your statement. What fucking standard are you using? This Guy gives very regular updates and I personally like my mix of games to have some: shorter regular updates (every 2 weeks or monthly), medium updates with more content (every 2 months or so), Long updates with a lot of content (every 3-6 months or so)
This game have very regular updates, with decent amount of content with very good quality models and renders for each update, so please get out of here with your nonsense. You obviously don't know what you are talking about, so stop spewing garbage.
I think you need to re-read what he wrote, once more time, and then climb off your high horse and give it some hay.
For your convenience, here is his text
"The fact the developer is actually getting paid for monthly updates this short legitimately bothers me tbh. If I was a Patron (as I am for a few other devs whose updates are worth the money), I'd be furious."
Perfect use of second conditional, talking about a hypothetical situation, and what would be his response in that situation
He expressed dissatisfaction, stating the reasons for that dissatisfaction and you have disagreed. Why not just limit your comments to that fact, rather than injecting invective into it? It shows an unhealthy degree of entitlement to speak to someone that way. Your opinion, while clearly of great importance to you, has no greater merit than his.
The renders are of a very high quality as you say, but his case can be reasonably argued too - that other devs can produce a far higher level of output while maintaining the same standards, which i think is the main thrust of what the gentleman was saying. WVM for example, which produces pretty much the same amount of content but on a weekly basis.
But then this is the internet, and people often rip into people in ways they would never do if face to face.
Bye then, don't forget to feed that horse now!
