So apparently the creator decided to stop the damage and restart under a more stable engine. Which, as someone who played the previous one a lot, is more than fair. For all the good stuff in it, playing it in it's current state is torture. Unless you somehow get a boner for Powerpoint presentations.

devs were and still are unorganized.... its why they struggle

flash is just an excuse for them, they randomly started to rework the entire panthea act 1. infact they didn't finish rework completely
then they started this in 2019 or was it 2020??

Wait, how did she lose her job from the first game? Wasnt the whole plot that she slept with her boss and slept her way to the top? Usually sluts like that atleast maintain secretary position, no one fires a good fuck toy. In game or IRL unless its leaked to the public and a scandal is revealed.

unfortunately the characters do not grow in any way, even gg, that is, they are like dummy, they just made it so that part 1 does not exist, there is no logical chain, in fact this is a remake, it would be good if they made it (Bat-thot) corrected and she ceased to be bitch, made a character who would teach her a lesson.
Gameplay is bad, they still use same thing that in 1 part, mean forever grind, to a see 1 scene, buffs effect I think it's a joke in this game because it does not give anything at all (when you go to the store to buy something perfume and something else) there is no variability in the game.

And it's a damn shame, because the art/animations are very good.

Having replayed the first act, she gets in trouble for starring in porn, at which point the story ends.
We can assume she was fired for that.

Just keep in mind the main reason for the first game being dropped in favor of this one is because the first one had become impossible to support anymore, as it was made in flash and, at the point it was in, had become a stuttering, lagging mess.
Sure, the reason for the setup of the first one might be wonkey, but that's not the most important part. It was made because starting a new project on a better engine was a better idea than fighting a lost war against Flash's instability.

Also ever heard of suspension of disbelief ?

The reason for the new version being created should not be affected by the reasoning of the story.
This breaks the suspension of belief very badly. The first story had the MC being a total sex fiend and those around her were no better including her room mate.
Yet in this story the MC acts like nothing happened and she is a prudish person unsure of sexual interaction, and the room mate is so stand offish with the MC, and hypocritical of everything sexually related. The story is a mess with the characterization making no sense at all. Yet the game will try to make you believe the things from the first game did indeed happen since the roommate is in a relationship with that human guy.
