I didn't download this game yet but it looks real nice and i will play it for sure after it gets several updates. (After several updates > After it turns into a fuckfest.)
i always get slightly worried for a dev whenever they are planning branching story lines, so i have to ask.If I were giving every girl her own optional sizes, yes. It'd require literally hundreds of renders per scene. Absolutely dumb way to do it lol.
What I'll instead be doing is just 2-3 options that will affect all of the girls at once. So if you say yes to the option, all of the core girls (and potentially optional characters. TBD) will start growing. So it'll require 2-3-4 renders per scene depending on how many expansion events I go with.
In theory, this shouldn't be too much additional work, but I'll only offer it when I'm confident I can handle the increased load.
I believe that there are a couple of routes I can go about it potentially. No idea until I test it really.
Idea 1: Link the Size 1-2-3 to the Size 0 body in a way that when posing Size 0, Sizes 1-3 are moving with it simultaneously. All I'll have to do is hide 0, show 1, render, hide 1, show 2, render, etc.
Idea2: Failing Idea 1, I know I can set up shape presets. So I should be able to just render 0, load shape 1, render, load shape 2, render, etc. Which might even be more efficient than the first idea.
I've got a powerful enough rig that renders generally take between 3-15min depending on complexity, so realistically, the actual renders aren't what take so much time. It's all the dialogue, posing, and world design.
Currently, yes. I plan to add a gallery system, however, that'll let you see the old outro sequences.if I want to see all of the post credit scenes do I need to download every version?
cause I can only see rn the latest one in the files
Moderator Note/Warn:This is one I really look forward to, and I understand time constraints and being new...
but man, I really gotta ignore atleast 5 updates. I feel like I'm just teasing myself when I download the new updates. Between the past 2 updates, we went from the house, to a shoe store, bought shoes, went to a burger place, got a burger, went to big tiddie goths place, got phone fixed, saw booba, and done. The pacing is rough.
Maybe by then I'll get some Jade or Twins screen time![]()
I'm glad you look forward to the future of the game, but having people jump in to fuss about update speeds or complain that the update size isn't too their liking every update doesn't make me go any faster. It just wears on my excitement to work on the game.Stop derailing the thread with off-topic commentary about tags or development speed. The developer is active in the community, and whining every update doesn't make anything go faster especially when the developer has to take time to report / respond to nearly every comment every update. Despite what you may think Kinkshaming is a serious offense here and easily results in bans. The same applies for reviews.
The plan was to work with the scenes in parallel. When that time comes, I'll be working with shaping presets to quickly swap the characters sizes out, I think.i always get slightly worried for a dev whenever they are planning branching story lines, so i have to ask.
are the scenes going to be somewhat identical aside from the girls bodies? if that is the case wont that mess up with the story in some ways?
i can imagine for example it would need scenes about visiting the clothing store a few times as they grow, but in the non-growth branch they wont need to. not to mention the dialogue difference.
do you plan to work on the 2-3 routes on parallel or finish them 1 by 1?
i fear that if you work on them in parallel, the overall story progression might take a lot longer as you are essentially making 3 games. which could in turn get some backlash from fans complaining about short updates.
especially people on this site, they are vicious savages.
i really liked this game so far, great art, loving characters and good story so far.
keep up the good work.
It's a bug that's been happening past couple updates. No idea actually why... It's just been targetting the window show/hide script for showing/hiding the dialogue box. Which like.. there's probably close to a hundred of those all through out the script. Something about each update for the past couple has been "corrupting" the most recent show/hide's.huh... Im getting bad errors trying to load my save or even the autosaves :/
edit :
had to go way back to one from 2versions ago to get it to load weird
I just had to go back 1 autosave and all was happy. :shrug:It's a bug that's been happening past couple updates. No idea actually why... My only leading theory is that the script file is too big. I plan to break it up into individual days scripts to hopefully fix the issue and if it doesn't, offer a "chapter select" system that lets you skip back up to where you were with the same choices you made. Just need to determine the best way to do that.
Same for me.I just had to go back 1 autosave and all was happy.
Got nothing for you bud. I've only got so much time in my day and only so much sanity at the end of it all. I have the need to unwind after a day of work and in general after pumping out renders for 12+ hours a day for weeks straight. I'll get faster at development and pushing updates, but that'll happen as my living situation allows for it and when not every dollar that I have is going towards keeping the ship from sinking.I like the game or i wouldn't be coming back, but your updates are short and it's taking forever to get anywhere. You can't do a slow burn game if your updates are only 10 mins long and 3-4 months apart. It's gonna take literal years to get anywhere. The game has been in development for nearly 2.5 YEARS, it's only like 1 hour of playtime and we've gotten a dream BJ and a HJ...both of which we're well over a year ago. Which wouldn't be too big of a deal if it actually felt like the story had progressed much at all, but i think between the last 2 updates we've played like 6 in-game hours, roughly 15 mins of actual playtime...a shopping trip for shoes and getting our phone fixed. That's like 6 months of dev time...maybe half an in game day...15 mins of real playtime. By the time this game has a full week of in-game time we're all gonna be grey haired old men.
