Consider this a... prequel, if you will. Hagokoro's gameplay is certainly based off of this one, but I'd say they're both pretty good. Excessm had a rough time with Hagokoro's launch though, considering it was made with a completely different engine than they were used to, so take that information as you will.
Hagokoro, the (as far as I know) newest game released by Excessm. Good game, if a little rocky due to the fact it was their first try on a new engine.
It's the subtitle of it, I haven't heard it be called that either but I can somewhat recall the full name of it
Parade Buster is more simple, but has more content.
Hagokoro is more ambitious with a whole new engine and is therefore more meager on content, some of the animations are wonky, but it feels like the start to something better to follow up.
So I guess contentwise it's best to start with Hagokoro, since you'll finish that game in a about 2 hours, while ParadeBuster has easily double the content, especially if you include the post-mainquest stuff.
people keep saying that but as far as I can tell Hagokoro has plenty of content, Parade Buster has a larger number of girls true but unlike Hagokoro the girls in Parade Buster don't all have there own events and fewer animations.
Also Hagokoro requires less grinding then Parade Buster and the overall pacing itself is faster too making seem much shorter.
though Hagokoro could use a proper translation.

I also forgot to say that Hagokoro also has a custom scene maker(where you can make you own custom scenes duh) like the Yandere short stack pinkskinned otome scene a friend of mine made

Knock their health down so that they're both low, and then pull out a weapon that has a high range like a spear to hit and knock them both out at once.
I'm pretty sure I've beaten the game and still haven't found the "bodies" from the main menu. Are they actual enemies or just art? I can't see them anywhere..

They're literally the first enemies you encounter... And yes it's just art, I don't think they do that pose in-game.
There are some noticeable differences between the first enemies and the one from the menu. I think it's just art.
Probably something you should ask in the smashboy thread...
It's when the girls with tanned skin are there instead of the ones normally there, just play a game then keep accusing them of cheating until you have no other choice and that should unlock it in the gallery. Takes like a third of your SP though.

It's random.
Just enter and leave the Casino until you get the tanned girls.

For anyone who went through Lester difficulty... how are you meant to defeat bosses accompanied by those priests with healing spells? A single spell that accidentally goes off pretty much undoes several minutes of fight...
No idea, personally haven't done it. My idea though would probably be equip whatever weapon you have that does the most damage with an alright recharge rate and abuse the ever living hell out of the time-stop counter glitch. Mind-numbing and boring, but it works.
