FYI anyone that replaces Kylie should uninstall the game and leave the computer.

Kylie is impossible to replace in my opinion because of the huge week end scene. Kyra is also almost impossible to replace. Antonella, Jolee and Avery/Chrissy are probably the easiest to replace. Also the game is using a lot of pov videos and it might not be easy to reproduce that, and changing it (using non-pov videos) might change the feeling of the game.

With the reworked engine (v10.3 or later), where all media are located outside the jar in a media folder, anyone can create their own media/girl packs with the media they want.

When the game plays events, it first checks if a video (.mp4) with the correct name exists, and if not, it checks for an image (.jpg) with that name. This means that you can replace any video or image with either a video or an image with the same name and the game will use it.

Some tips:
If you want to see which media files the game is looking for when playing, run the game by using the bat file. Then play the game in windowed mode so you can see the cmd-window. The game will output "WANTED MEDIA NAME:" every time it looks for a media file.

Remember that a media file can be re-used in many places, for instance to show when the girl is smiling. So try to use similar expressions and so on when replacing a media file. Otherwise, even if your replacement fits the text pretty well the first time it is used, it might not fit well if later used in another place.

I am not really a real porn fan, but i played this game the whole week and kudos, it was a great blast.
Still now that i have reached the endless8 i was wondering how regular are the update and their usual length? (to know if i should piled them up before playing or not). I am waiting a few update but i definitely consider supporting the game financially (been a while since a game made me look forward to its update)

People actually playing the game would have to answer about the length of the updates. But seeing that you've played v0.10, ie first release plus 9 updates, you can try to estimate it yourself.

I've had different release schedules. Right now I'm doing it without mentioning any estimated release dates. But I've said that I think I will complete the game this year.

For Family Fun and everyone else that is interested in making their own media/girl packs, here is a follow-up to this post.

I have now updated the game so that when playing events, it first checks if a video (.mp4) with the correct name exists, and if not it checks for an image (.jpg) with that name. This means that you can replace any video or image with either a video or an image with the same name and the game will use it. If there is both a video and an image with the same name, the game will pick the video.

First you need to download this update if you haven't already:
v0.10.301 (255 MB) -- All adult media removed (see earlier post how to add all media from v0.10.01)

Then replace the jar file with this:
v0.10.302 (2MB) -- jar file

* Note to uploaders: Don't update the OP with these updates. They are only for modders, are stripped of media and have no new content.

Some tips:

I have tailored the stories and events to the material available for the used pornstars, so it would be hard to flawlessly replace any of them with another pornstar. But I mean, it's not uncommon in other real porn games to use media from different pornstars for the same in-game character, so I think most people would accept some of that for a fan-made media pack.

The difficulty lies not only in finding a pornstar that has scenes fitting the story, but also in finding <x> pornstar that also has scenes with <z> pornstar, because <y> and <z> have a scene that's story required, and <x> and <y> have a scene that's story required. So Kylie, Angela, and Julia are all tied together, and anyone wanting to replace one would have to replace 3, where each pair has a scene that fits the scene they'd be inserted into.
And if there are to be any future pairings that haven't occurred yet between any of the others, those would have to be accounted for also.

that's all true, but now I'm watching porn as research.

However, you may be better off creating your own offshoot/tangent to the story and using the pornstars you prefer in that.

I would solve that by splitting the screen in those scenes they are together. Then you can pair up any pornstars you want.

I just meant taking a picture of girl A and a picture of girl B and edit them together side by side in Paint or whatever. Basically what I have done in the gif in the OP of this thread, showing most of the girls.

I guess same could be done for videos if you really wanted. I couldn't recommend anything there since I haven't done that myself. I use Avidemux when editing videos but I'm not even sure you can join videos side by side there.

In all honesty that's why I've been having a hard time liking other real porn games. It just kinda takes me out of the game too much to enjoy the developing story. I think you worked it the right way 100% even if there is a bit too many fake tits for my taste. Finding pornstars you like and create the scenes based on the material they have sounds way better than just randomly mixing different pornstars for the same character. At least that's my thoughts

So for any linux users out there struggling like I was. Someone else mentioned doing nearly the same thing but what worked for me was downgrading my java version to 11 (as opposed to 15) then installing java-11-openjfx. Then I was able to run the game using this command.

/usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk/bin/java --module-path /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjfx/lib --add-modules=javafx.controls,javafx.fxml,javafx.graphics,javafx.media,javafx.swing,javafx.web -jar pf.jar

Your milleage my very but figured since I struggled might help make someone else's life easier. For reference I'm running manjaro(arch varient). (check to make sure your paths for java11 and java11openfx are there if not adjust the paths to match your system.

(Edit: I need to point out that this was not a perfect solution for me. I can play the game and the videos and everything works but even with the changes and the specific run options most of the time the game just opens with a blank white screen and I have to close it and try again. Eventually (probably 1 in 5 tries) it will go to the splash screen and I can play normally.)

Assuming the Thinking emoji was to suggest 'think about it", I did:
- First up: I think this is a great game, and was into my 2nd play-through when the above question occurred.
- I'd got to that point and (as it was a 2nd game) wondered if another path existed. Reasonable question, no?
- Before posting the question: I'd run a comparison of 3 game weeks (Truth versus Lie) with no discernible difference.
- After posting (and getting no response) I ran that same comparison over 55 game-days.
- And, with that many clicks behind me, confirmed lying then is simply progress stopping.

Given these are weekly events, it still seems a silly option to have there (as the clues certainly don't make it obvious).

But... that's not to take away from the game overall though...

This is currently limited in that the game will only accept a video where a video is asked for in the code (game will still run without a video though, showing black), but in the future I might make it so that if there is no video with that name, the game will instead check for an image with that name.

If anyone wants to check it out, and maybe start working on their own character pack, here is a game version with the new engine:
Mega v0.10.301 (255 MB) -- All adult media removed and no new content

You can see how it works and the files you will need to replace by unzipping the jar file of the last official release (v0.10 in the OP). Then place everything in the media folder. You should then be able to run v0.10.301 with those media files.

BUT then I tried re-encoding them via ffmpeg and the videos worked! Something to do with the export/conversion of creating the original .mp4 is the reason for the black screen and freezing on Mac, due to encoding.

The command I used was:
ffmpeg -i INPUT.mp4 -preset slow -b:a 128k -codec:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p OUTPUT.mp4

I guess for different files maybe different settings could be used

While this is an interesting discussion to follow, I for one think the choice of models is excellent. Not the same old same old, they are believable for their roles, nice variety. I'm amazed that this game isnt more popular. Wouldnt change a thing
