There is no virus. A lot of false virus alerts have been reported lately, seemingly due to Windows Defender starting to give false positives. There is a site announcement about it.When i scan the game i get virus warning

Oh really, well scanning and seeing trojan warning kinda got me off guard.

So far this game is so boring all you do is talk and talk that's it.I just deleted again so stupid.

You are quoting a 3 year old post. That bug was fixed a long time ago. I'm not aware of any bugs still existing, but if you give me your save I could take a look.

is there any way to get this game to run in linux (manjaro)?
i tried the things listed in the opening post, but that doesnt work for me.

As far as I know, yes, you should be able to get it run on linux. But all I know is basically what it says here: https://attachments.f95zone.to/2023/03/2481710_mac_and_linux.txt

yeah thats the problem, that doesnt work for me, all videos are basically photos if they show in the first place
Sorry. Perhaps someone using linux can be of more help. I have no way to test it myself.
Did you plan to add other languages to the game??? English is not my native language. How to translate the game into another language has not yet figured out.
You just need to right click on Paradise Found.exe, Properties / Compatibility / Compatibility Mode --> Select Windows 7.

Sorry, I gave up on making support for translations. Too much work and moving on the next game.
I think jet-white was close to finishing a Chinese translation of Paradise Found. He used tools to disassemble the Java bytecode and I gave him the source files as well since he needed those to fix some code before assembling again after translating. I haven't heard from him in a long time though, so I don't know if there is a Chinese version of Paradise Found out there somewhere.
Just having the source files won't do you any good unless you know how to compile them with the needed dependencies. You either must be able to do that, or to go the disassemble/assemble route. Either way, it requires some knowledge to succeed. If someone shows they have this knowledge and just needs the source files to complete the translation project without needing any further help from me, I might (that's a maybe) be willing to share the source files.
