Didn't make it for a particular Windows version, but it was developed and tested on Windows 7. Some Windows 10 users had to disable "fullscreen optimizations" to start the game, but that's the only problem related to a specific Windows version I'm aware of, except perhaps this issue with Windows 11 which I'm not yet sure is a real thing. Are you sure that you have installed the media pack correctly? Because doing that wrong (or not at all) is usually the problem when people get black screens.

There is no virus. A lot of false virus alerts have been reported lately, seemingly due to Windows Defender starting to give false positives. There is a site announcement about it.When i scan the game i get virus warning
Oh really, well scanning and seeing trojan warning kinda got me off guard.

You are quoting a 3 year old post. That bug was fixed a long time ago. I'm not aware of any bugs still existing, but if you give me your save I could take a look.

yeah thats the problem, that doesnt work for me, all videos are basically photos if they show in the first place
Sorry. Perhaps someone using linux can be of more help. I have no way to test it myself.
