Mi-sun seems to be more interested in streaming than the pageant lifestyle. If there's good Internet access and she can hang out there all the time on her own schedule, I think she'd be very into it.
I think a key detail is that things change a bit when nobody is
trapped on the island. If you can come and go as you please, it's going to be a lot more appealing. But there are indications from everyone of how they were unhappy with their previous lives and are all coming to really enjoy their time on the island.
