Please read: - This update is almost entirely an under-the-hood one. If you're coming from the older versions looking for content, you can pretty much skip this one.

Hey guys, as part of our pledge to transition to monthly updates, we just thought we'd let you guys know what we've been doing and post what we've got.

Some artwork has been done, it's just sort of 'floating' around currently and we haven't been able to add it in yet till we get a few more pieces together.

Instead, the primary focus this month has been on some of the technical aspects behind the curtain. If you want to see what's going on with that front, read on!



Tech Changelog:

Outs:

- Updated inventory slot artwork

- Added an Early Access disclaimer

Ins:

-Two weeks worth of project refactoring, including but not limited to:

-Splitting bloated, messy files into smaller ones.

-Separating data from engine extensions

-Getting rid of unused/messy code tails & ends accumulated since day1,

-Converting some of the heavier .pngs into a .webp file format,

-Baking in most of the remaining image-based animations into .webms,

-Setting up some proper naming conventions for files, folders & code bits,

-Moving the engine into a pure python library,

-Getting rid of a bunch of unused assets (vanilla renpy imagery mostly),

-Writing a devtool to parse for broken file paths,

-The list goes on and on and on...



For you guys, the above basically means more quality and a much more reasonable game folder size... For us, it's tenfold less headaches in the long run.

For saves, it's a huge leap towards inter-version compatibility, BUT It will still break all the pre-0.132's currently though. Save compatability will be here soon!

Good start and great rendering, the animations were almost real.
I just thought the game presented a huge literature, a lot to read, I'm not a big fan of passing part of the game in a lot of readings.
When Mc enters the library, hmm, choosing the books, each one presented a story with many things to read.
But as I said before it's fine for an early game, I hope you can get where you want.
I'm even translating this game, and it's very tiring because it has a lot of super big phrases.
Translation is just an incentive to help you grow.
All credits will be exclusive to you, my translation is merely a pass time.

Well... It's a VN i supposed that part of the fun is that, read a good story, in WaL there's a lot of porn but a lot to read too, but games like Divimera... Cheese... Parasite Black have a lot of porn and less to read in comparison

News!

Hey guys, just to let you all know work is still underway.
We've had a few set-backs with some staff being ill or away recently, but work is still on-going and we've made some good progress!

As we work towards the Steam release, we've been juggling re-working the old art to a more 'cohesive' style while trying to produce enough new content, suffice to say, it's proven quite the task, but we think the results will speak for themselves.

We'll try soon post something more 'spicy' for you all, but for now, feel free to ask anything below or over on the discord!

Sorry but the new tavern art does not look impressive to me.
It does not look like something fitting the "dark and gritty" setting, boar head looks like a picture plastered on a wall.

Well the most impressive is about for a tavern in some kind of Middle Age setting, is damn clean and with full colors... The boar could be a decorative picture, but the main thing is how new it looks and how much light is in.

Need some tips to know if I've completed all current content:

-Blacksmiths daughter (forgot name) is there anything more than her acting as if we've personally deeply offended her in the past?

-Adara: I've seen up to boob job is there anything more with her?

( I haven't made enough yet to use her services) what about the one from when you went with Markus to the pleasure district before leaving to scout training? (Don't think her name was shani...? Z something? Do we see any more of her this version?)

Ves: I'm to the point where she mentions something about medicine, mc mentions mage district but nothing there is clickable for me? Where to get it?
