Others Completed Parasite In City [v1.03] [Pixel Factory]

Any one has a list of similiar games like this classic, I've been looking for some but finding type of game on this website is kinda hard at least for me, would love if someone gave me few titles like this one

The games from LibraHeart are all pretty good, also Alien Quest Eve from Grimhelm is one of the best hentai platformer/metroidvania I've played.

I believe (and I'm only theorising here) that he said this because the most 'recent' post on the dev's page was tagged as being released in 2021, though it was actually released several years ago. Probably was just a mistake, but we can hope

There hasn't been any new post from the author since 2014 (on the dev blog that is). The post you're probably refering is dated as 2022 and it has been like that for a while indeed. It's most likely to keep that particular post always on top as it contains the link to buy the game, the known bugs and the updates changelog.

There hasn't been any new post from the author since 2014 (on the dev blog that is). The post you're probably refering is dated as 2022 and it has been like that for a while indeed. It's most likely to keep that particular post always on top as it contains the link to buy the game, the known bugs and the updates changelog.

I imagine the reason a few people keep asking about mods aside from wanting to spice up the game on a second playthrough would likely be because of things like this

That's just a simple video edit.

As far as I remember, there is a mod that exist for Parasite City but it's more a fix than a mod, and you'll need Cheat Engine in order to use it.
Other than that, I don't believe there are any mods, well at least I didn't came accros any that is. I personnaly tried to modify the sprites (out of curiosity), but when repacking the game files with the edits it causes multiple visual glitch.

There's nothing new in that video, it's all in the base game. Literally just clickbait, because apparently that's a thing on porn sites now? Clickbait for something that doesn't exist?

There is a way to edit the sprites and textures by extracting the content of the "data.win" file and repacking it with Quickbms. However, as I say above, from a previous attempt (a couple years ago) I ended up with visual glitches in-game. It's possible I did something wrong in the process though. Alternatively there is also

(based on Quickbms) that has a more user friendly interface, could be worth giving a try with this one.

In any cases, doing a new costume (as in editing the current sprites) would require a huge amount of work.

Are there any other games from pixel factory?

Unfortunately, there is not. There once was work done for a sequel (where you can actually see some progress that had been done). However, after some sort of event -- it's suspected the dev violated (old) porn laws in his country with the development of Parasite in City -- the dev suddenly went silent with no further updates anywhere and not just on his old blog. A while back a thief tried to pass off Parasite as their own work on Steam which was removed, but other than that there's been absolutely nothing since Pixel Factory's disappearance. Hope he's okay. Anyway, that's the jist of it.

The story is always sad to hear. To think that some backwards useless laws have stopped us from getting a very nice eroge sequel. I have found great stuff, but there is still a vacuum left. Somehow those pixels of his got me hornier than many other more refined eroges. I hope at least he is fine

I think guy is Japanese and probably this project was his hobby to improve so he is now working in some IT company I knew a guy who made awesome animations and after a while, he vanished without traces I contacted him several years after and he said he was working on animations for some company so I think this happened to him as well,

He's definitely not a Japanese. The Japanese he used on his blog and in the game is far from native.

The developer is Korean. And back then, there were decency and porn laws (i.e., adultery and other forms of cheating were arrestable crimes). Heck, pornography in general was illegal there unlike most other developed countries like Japan. People were arrested for just viewing them online (which posed quite the conundrum for a tech-savvy society such as South Korea) let alone operating websites or facilitating in the creation of any type of porn (such as this game). The last time I did a good check about it several years ago, the South Korean government were just starting to ease up on some of them such as the aforementioned adultery charges.

According to Wikipedia after typing the above, that mostly seems to be the case.

That doesn't explain why the end credit scene doesn't have Korean and instead another asian language written on it. Nor does it explain why the site wasn't written in korean either.
