Kodman, I would like to ask for a dedicated status menu for seeing more details of Oni's status, the quick Hud thing is fun for a while but shouldn't there be a version of it with more in depth details? Maybe something like be after doing some flavor to the NPC you get an upgraded status window or something like a scanner?

I plan to add at least two new menus to the game (Journal and Inventory). If there are additional Oni status parameters that affect the gameplay, then a detailed status menu will definitely be added for them.

Where is the Logging data for the computer near the elevator to the labs?
Not sure, if it's the laptop near the Elevator, but If you mean the laptop in that area where the infected girl get's fucked by the guy who gives you the repair kit later, there is a memo in the hallway. Look for barrels. Should be Bob and his birthyear.
Just in case you mean something else, them I don't know.

Thanks, I know it's easy to do on Unity. But I'm developing Parasite Inside on Unreal Engine 5, not Unity.
Maybe this will help you: One of the players wrote that he comfortably played the game on Linux using Proton and adding the game to the Steam library.
Kodman My bad, here is the documentation for cross-compiling for Linux on a Windows machine for Unreal 5:

Its only 6 minutes xD

Kodman Please produce a native Linux package, the game does not run well under Wine in Linux. Its simple to do with Unity, DM me if you have trouble:

Game runs great under Linux with WINE. Ofc if you don't have some old ass WINE and have all needed and libraries. Or as developer said, add the game into Steam and enable Proton for it.

Of course if developer wants to experiment they can do one simple step to improve Linux support - just enabling Vulkan renderer. Can be added as a setting ingame or just executing exe with -vulkan argument would be enough. For example, Delta Zone v19 has it enabled and it is not stated anywhere. This will remove extra layer of emulation for Linux users. And I heard sometimes this can help for Windows Radeon users too. In any case game runs great as is so specific Linux changes are not required and are for developer to decide.

Thank you! I did not know about these steps. I will try them in a moment and report back!

As you imply, the project is currently yet not configured with vulkan support. If this is an easy option for the dev, I'm down to try it.

Just finished 0.2.0. I like the story and the animations a lot, but the only thing that so frustrated with the game is the jumping.

But remember to take a shower often.

Same here, but I figured it pretty quick (actually there are only 2 jumps in this version that counts - the area where you need to go with the second small lift).
So you couldn't run and jump at the same time, but you can run until the very end of the "Cliff", then just press enter in order to jump further.
Going slowly at the edge and then jump results in just falling down, which would lead to a problem since they add Fall damage. ;)
