More than a couple of hundred considering that he has been up to that since March 2018
First and foremost, I don't think devs should be owed money for the stolen content. That content he's reuploading is mostly free elsewhere (Since Mia isn't "buying" the pre releases in the first place, but using the free download links on sites like F95). But I wouldn't blame anyone for perusing that, technically, every dev could be owed money. But I think that money should just go back to the patrons themselves.

In any case, , She's made a total of roughly $220. No one person caused Mia to gain all that money through their game alone. It would most likely need to be split up between every dev's content Mia stole. Which would result in like 50 cents a person.

I was just joking around [...]
I know, but you were also asking a question. I just answered it, in case someone effectively thought about it. Anyway, like I implied, it don't worse the time and energy.

My main concern is that creators that have disqualified content in their game will have Patreon staff take a deeper look at their game and possibly suspend them.

Does anyone know if Patreon cares about patches or devs involvement on this forum for example that hosts the patches? Or do they turn a blind eye as long as the offending material isn't on the patreon page itself?
As much as I disagree with Patreon's policies regarding certain content, any dev who has disqualified content on Patreon and hasn't done something about it by now has tied the knot in that noose themselves.

Wow I would have never imaginated that he had gotten such a spike just last month, thought it had been a gradual growth.

I probably didn't articulate my thoughts properly. I'm concerned for devs who have disqualified content here on the f95zone but the clean version of their game on Patreon. If the staffers investigate miagames and follow the links back to f95z, is there any chance it backfires back on those devs?

Especially if people in the comments discuss family relations for example, and the dev themselves are involved with those comments.

I have no idea if this would be in violation of Patreon TOS, simply raising a concern.

Some famous banned patreons have said that they have gotten banned for things done in the past, in other platforms and not even in their own account.
While that could be possible, I doubt they truly care to dig out so much about a developer, unless that developer is famous.

Yesterday I did a Google search for "Miagamehouse." Something I noticed was, this "Mia" literally spams the comment section of games on Newgrounds and any adult flash game websites, with the link to his/her/its Patreon. lol

What recent events have brought to light about Patreon banning people for things not on their site is that Patreon's reps have said anything you do off of Patreon that is not allowed on Patreon can be a bannable offense. So I would be very careful mentioning anything that is not allowed on Patreon, or having that tied directly to your name. Just cover your bases.

I should be fine because I don't have any offensive content, roommate relations being the closest. Just trying to look out for the rest of this community ;)

These days there more concerned about political backlash than anything we are doing. They have lost a good amount of money due to the political backlash. If anything the fact we are working together on this means they don't want to piss off the adult dev community. so for once, I think we have leverage

That will even probably even not be allowed under their rules, all I'm trying to say is it takes one person to take away your income, don't give them any ammunition to help their cause. *cough* shadow account *cough* Keep your name away from anything that 'might' break their rules, protect yourself.

Ah ok, I'm with you now. I think maybe, and I stress maybe the only way a dev might be in harms way, is if there is a modified version on F95Zone and the dev has the OP. But even then, considering F95 uploaders can put content in OPs, it would be a hard stretch to prove that the dev put the modified content on there.

I've never worried about the mods or anything on F95Zone or elsewhere. As long as our Patreon content is clean I think we're safe. I mean, it wouldn't take much to prove how vulnerable Renpy is to modification and throw our hands up and say "Hey, this wasn't us and we don't endorse it."

I think as long as the modded content isn't on Patreon, devs are safe from that level of scrutiny. At least, that's my rationale.

Same here. Now, my players have made implications about the relationship between some characters. But in the forums and elsewhere, I consistently deny, deny, deny.

But all of us using Patreon are building houses on sand. It's best we all have a plan B in case one day Patreon decides to up and shut us all down.

I guess I should start spending all my time doing that rather than making my game lol. Certainly seems more effective.

What about this one:
If Patreon does not take down his site refering that he does not anything wrong along their ToS, then make a F95-account there and post all games "for free" to beat his offer.
(before any Shitstorm starting now: THIS IS SARCASM - and not to take serious - of course ;))

Why Mia is already using the download links on F95.

sure, but if there is a F95 account on patreon offering the games for 0$ the guys download links would be obsolete.
(just to remember: i am still kidding)

EDIT: its just because this guy trying to make money out of F95 links

EDIT 2: most of the devs i know are "not happy" about F95 site at all because they loose money for sure. But what makes them really angry is that another guy is trying to make profit out of their work, even he grabbed the (partially illegal) links over here for free by himself.
