You can buy it from the blacksmith in the village (where the anvil is to forge the rings and the crossbow bolts) or find some in the mine close to the tower iirc.
You need to forge the shard rings first and then use the ring on the door.

They will never learn. I bet some people would even buy a badly damaged TV cuz it costs less money than a new one, the guy who sells the TV even tells them that it can malfunction and he can't guarantee that it works as it should, the first guy buys it anyway and when shit hits the fan he comes back and starts a rage show, blaming everyone else than himself.^^'

Worst thing is if they buy and test the product, only to alter it by upgradeing it with an outdated modul and than find the whole thing malfunctioning.
THAN go on a rage trip since it's obviously the creators fault to create a malfunctioning product (i.e. Lain's Mod from several Versions ago)
I think the problem is that people just flat out ignore the warning and doesn't really like to use common sense, that's why tjose idiotic warning labels such as this
