Because it's not a watermark from creator... it's from some random dude that presumably bought it from PS. That still doesn't make it his property to do what he want.
Putting your own watermark on something that you do not have rights for is absolutely unacceptable...
It is more unacceptable to ask for it as someone who consumes free product, unless you are someone on behalf of PS or PS himself tells him how many artists have asked for their works to be taken away, so unless they come on behalf of the author, it is useless for them to claim in a forum where everything is free thanks to PIRACY

It doesn't matter if it's free or not. He is not the owner of the rights to those comics so he have absolutely no rights to put his watermark on it... the only watermark that would be acceptable is one from PS.
In a way, what he did is far, far worse than anyone on this site does when they post PS's work: he claimed that work as his own!

As far as I see in the mail, this site makes the content by paying money and this makes all the images given to it. After all, pegasus sells this content and someone buys it. when a good is bought, it becomes the person who buys it. This is technically a pirate site and everyone is trying to publish for free as much as they can. If you want to read it, read it watermarked. If you don't want to read it, stop complaining. The right thing to do is to support Pegasus and read it. Stop complaining and buy a subscription that doesn't even cost a coffee and enjoy reading in the best way.

Yes, PS is selling his comics and supposedly whomever owned that site bought it... while that gives them right to then post the comic on their site (or any other, including this one), it does not give them right to alter those comics by adding their own watermark.
So yes, what owner of that site did is far, far worse then anyone posting PS's stuff here do.
