"Deserve"? Was this some kind of business deal for you to charge anything? The fact of the matter is, IT DID TAKE OFF, and while the game itself was a learning experience, I do believe we deserve to see an actual remake or retelling of this story with the characters we know and love with proper endings. I'm not telling domiek what to do, but I don't believe it's right to leave things the way they are. That's my take, anyway.
This is like calling the Ford Pinto a learning car,You missed the purpose of this exercise entirely then. This is what the dev said about this project:
So it is exactly as the dev intended. Actually, wrapping it up having endings for five main gals (Sophie, Dani, Hikari, Jenna, and Amy) was more than many games do, and certainly beyond generous given what the project's purpose was all along. Actually, the addition of a full story/ending for Dani was bonus and appreciated, as she didn't get much love through the story line. It delivered way beyond a laugh or two and ended up being a pretty large, complex, and complete package, IMHO.
I can think of no more fitting tribute than this: "And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make" (Beatles). Domiek gave us a lot of love, given that this was never intended to be more than a learning tool. We throw back love to Domiek for the kind gift.
Completed in the mind of the developer, since he will no longer work on it.
A harem ending? Wouldn't work consider the characters. This isn't a typical harem game. There was a (sort of) Happy ending with Sophie. Just not the picket fences one you wanted.Great Gamei enjoyed allot scenes where realy good

But One Thing is missing Happy Endings..Happy Ending With Cousin Sophie would be Perfect she is in love with Mc so Pregnancy and Marriage fits Ending
It Could End In Harem with pregnancy
Game is not completed

The ending was realistic. A lot of the complaints are that the cousin didn't get the marriage/white picket fence. Some of the complaints are that some of the other characters didn't get much of an ending either. I would have liked to have successfully confronted the old lady's husband, but again, it's reasonable to expect what happened if you tried. The same way it's reasonable to expect that you might not be allowed to marry your cousin. It... is what it is I guess. I'm ok with the ending not going so deep into wish fulfillment that it verges on unbelievable. God (if there is one) knows we have plenty of those (which I hasten to say I'm not complaining about, I like them too). If that's what you wanted, it isn't worth playing. For me it was.So for what I've been reading the games has no ending? I've been following this game for quite some time but I'm not gonna play this last update if there is no proper ending.
There is a ending, just not the ending everyone wanted, or did envision. Kinda like the ending of "LOST".. you sit there and.. eh?So for what I've been reading the games has no ending? No, I wouldn't say that. But safe to say people had higher expectations to the ending(s). Doesn't help when there is so many female characters involved and players/readers end up get their own favorites and want to see more of them. If people did actually read all the text. The endings wasn't that horrible, just it left a lot up to yourself to fill in the blanks and complete the picture.in other words its the kinda ending that makes you dislike the whole product
The story is not over, the rest of this "fictional" story continues without our voyeuristic attachment. continue or complete the story in your imagination and move on to better things.and then......nothing. That's it. Game over. Story ended.
when i say dislike the product i mean its probably not gonna be something you come back and play because of the disappointing ending. its like how people dont go back and rewatch lost and wont go back and rewatch game of thrones. the way a story ends is an just as important as how it begins and it will be one of the most important factors in how people look back on it. as some story telling advice for the writer every "end" other then sophie seemed more like a jumping off point for a new plot line its not "realistic" but its important to give the audience a sense of finality. it can be positive or negative but it needs to feel final because as far as the audience knows its the ending of their experience with that world. No, I wouldn't say that. Why would you want to replay a game that offer very little in the way of different paths etc? This game quite straight forward. Replay this game would be for the lewd scenes if any tbh. It would be just like rewatch a movie, the outcome would be the same.when i say dislike the product i mean its probably not gonna be something you come back and play because of the disappointing ending. its like how people dont go back and rewatch lost and wont go back and rewatch game of thrones. the way a story ends is an just as important as how it begins and it will be one of the most important factors in how people look back on it. as some story telling advice for the writer every "end" other then sophie seemed more like a jumping off point for a new plot line its not "realistic" but its important to give the audience a sense of finality. it can be positive or negative but it needs to feel final because as far as the audience knows its the ending of their experience with that world.
