Moochie does not want to milk the game and feels horrible about all the delays but ultimately she is not the cause of them.
(She could prevent them though)
As for update size this one is a unique one otherwise we have been getting bigger and bigger in terms of renders and content for each new update. 0.19 is supposed to be one of the biggest updates to date.
But I do agree they have absolutely dropped the ball with this one. Such a short update should not be delayed beyond their normal full size update release window.
It is just ridiculous at this point.
Now the part about delay, writing, and story... That all started when Moochie hired someone to do the writing and that person has as far as I know caused every single delay in the game since he joined and is the root cause of why the game started getting delayed months.
And I do agree the overall quality of the writing fell off after he joined with all the references, memes, and the "oh no I passed the point of no return" which is said during every single scene with a girl.
And I have said it before that I think he should have been fired ages ago. They said he had a last chance to step it up during the previous update and the update before that.
But here we are still in the exact same situation.
