But the update times will surely slow down to a crawl (compared to before). Expect updates anywhere from 2 months to 3 months per update. Maybe even longer.

I wish he would use that relief to set his creative side loose and say fuck it to all the oh so well-tempered expectations here.

In the first announcement he said " Due to certain personal issues and increased risks for me associated with working on games of this genre, " then he changed this part. I'm assuming some of his stroies based on a true events. And someone find out about he is making this story in to the game. I'm just speculating but this could be true.

The truth is different, in my opinion, and it's ahead of us all. All his games are practically the same in terms of plot. He's never changed his plot style, which means he has no ideas. He just copies his old games with very small narrative variations. The graphics, especially those of his three big games, are identical and have never improved. Just take the postures in his last two games for example. His characters move and pose in the same way. The sex scenes are the same in all his games. The rooms and the character colors change, but the positions and direction are a copy and paste. Perhaps some of his fans have pointed this out, and they're abandoning him. Be smart, make comparisons with his last three games, and you'll see that I've only told the pure truth.

Your observations concerning similarities are not totally wrong. But it's not lack of creativity. It's what I would call the fetish-character of his games. They all circle around certain core motives. It's the nature of a fetish to have to be repeated. In the context of porn games this is therefore not a failure at all but part of an obsessive journey to reach the perfect erotic moment.

I see some here are still critical. I think he has a good sense of creativity. All his games are different in the realm of surroundings of his characters. Different people doing different things. His main genre is NTS / NTR so how different can you get when you start having sex with the characters. You should already know what is happening at some point just from the listed genre. Everyone wants to see the sex with the characters ..then when it happens there is complaining that it is the same ? Not too much you can do with that. You see it in every game here . Why are people busting this man's chops that his games are all the same. He started out where they were small games and has moved to where they are in several releases. More fun for all of us. I enjoy the progression of it all.
I find it funny where I believe most of the negative feedback comes from people that do not give this guy a cent..... happens all the time in many games. This guy gave us good games in a great timeline . Lots of sexual enjoyment. He did several games and completed all of them. All some can do is still say he could have done better... Sham really. If he does go away. One , I'll understand and two, I'll miss his gift . Just my thought.

in my opinion, Dimajio´s move is the result of a reasons mix. I theorise that part of his stories are reworked real life events and there is a risk people involved could be recognised, no matter how well disguised. Additionally the bigot puritan faction currently on rampage with money pressure is not only on the case of incest games, but also on those with "dubious consent". While that is at base a good idea, rape or forced consent is not a gentlemen´s offence, it´s execution leaves a lot to be desired, lashing out without any restraint. When e.g. crime story creators get harrassed (happening on Patreon), where will it end? Part of crime stories logically is about dark deeds, how dumb can some self-declared world savers be? And Dimajio´s games have some events that blowhard could and would certainly misconstruct.
That is probably one reason for Dimajio´s move.

Another is pressure from various sources. Real life, work, recharging of the creative batteries, etc. Making games, music or writing stories is more time consuming and draining, even if you really like doing it, than many people will believe. I am a hobby writer myself and can tell you, there are times nothing goes if the circumstances are not right! You can plow through, but you will always have in the back of your mind that you could do it better and it influences the result.
I think some creative fatigue is hitting Dimajio right now and the general situation helps him pullng the plug until he is back to form or leaving the game making behind.

You are not wrong. His stories all start the same way. A mostly happy couple leading ordinary lives, with a smoking hot girl with a generic potato of a guy, it's pure vanilla. Add in a change in scenery and circumstances, throw in the "ladies' man" with his flirtatious banter, a femme fatale to tempt the potato's libido, and let the sparks fly. Their ordinary lives turn into an X-rated movie script, or a porn-game.
It doesn't have to be that complicated to be fun!

And that's because NTR stories can't really be re-invented; it's like a car - it uses 4 wheels to drive, needs an engine, and an exhaust. The basics will always be the same.


SadPepper is just a victim of having completed more projects than most devs ever will begin in their lifetimes. Kudos for that.

However, some room for experimentation still exists in the finer details; something that Pineapple Express 2 is lacking in - this "fault" becomes more apparent here, as we are now not only seeing another NTR story play out, but this time with repeat characters as well.


All that means is, PE2 had bigger expectations: people wanted to see how their consequences mattered, but then PE2 released and the status of Peter & Julia's relationship got hit with an unwanted reset button that left a lot of heads scratching...

This was SadPepper's chance to go beyond his tropes and shore up some of his weaknesses - instead, the man shuts down his Patreon and decides to slow down for the foreseeable future.

He said he will finish PE2 and ipost it here If he really starts new projects he will search for a partner to help him with renders and animations and set up a new patreon account.
