I can get that. Though, if memory serves, a lot of the bad ends even in the previous game were pretty dark. Pretty much all of them end up with the character forever broken, like with the bug nest. I think they might have just went deeper into detail this time. (Hard to say, my memory is a fickle thing.)

For me, in this game, i'd say the 'recovery' scene was what caught me off guard. It stuck in my brain for a while. Just my opinion, but I don't think that's a good way to heal trauma. Lol
Ah, yeah, that was messed up. I thought it was ridiculous enough to be funny though and they did kinda play it for laughs later.

True, there are plenty of dark moments but the way some of them turn out, like

makes it difficult to guess whether they'll go for disturbing or funny, until you see it all play out. There are conflicting incentives between wanting to see some sexy pixels & being afraid of what that might result in.

Without locale, some Japanese games neëd this extract https://f95zone.to/threads/extract-zip-files-with-jap-encoding.68161/ then for ex. with Xupefei Emulator here https://f95zone.to/threads/how-to-run-japanese-games-on-windows.1040/ you right click > Locale > Run in Jap

(though I ahvent played this)
thanks for the information. I tried to unzip the game using the technique mentioned in the linked posts. I still have the issue. I also use aplocale to run the game but that doesn't work either.

Really, I'm seriously wondering how clearly I need to highlight this information in my future threads, maybe modify the .exe file to display it full screen in glowing colors and make a message from the speakers? What do you think?

My bad.

I did that and it works. I can"t tell how many games I deleted because I had that error and couldn't run them. o_O

Better of ignoring it. I have seen people constantly asking things, that are in the first post or things that they could find by reading the 1-2 pages of posts or reading back 1 page before their comment.
The funniest case was, when one guy asked for a save file which was literary given in the post before his :D

On another note I like this game better then the first one. I didn't like the girls design at first but she grew on me. Not to mention I like it a lot more, that she is more open to sex, so the game is not 100% rape scenes. Looking forward for the next game's translation.

You dont need to wait, just keep going up. You will choose later in the form of a dialogue choice to wait or not to wait.
I never get that dialogue choice even though i dont skip through text at all. She just says that Aya is too slow, and just bails

Walkthrough included with game completely skips on that part, and it seems no one gave actual proper answer to this.
You need to be Best friends with Aya to get good ending. There are two points in game where you bond with Aya.
First I don't remember and I think it may be automatic. It certainly happens before you start chasing Mika around. After that event game will say Fuu and Aya are now Friends.
Second I believe unlocks once Fuu finishes business with gangbang group. She takes camera from them, and it appears in Item Menu. To make this bonding event happen, you need to get to Aya's home, and interact with toilet room right of Mika's room (it will have "interactible" sparkle effect).
After it, game will inform that Fuu and Aya became best friends, certain dialogue in first encounter with Akame before chase will change, and after it, when Fuu unlocks her powers and prepares for decisive attack, there will be a choice to wait for Aya or to consider her too slow.

I gotta sleep so I can't check, but I think "Chase" gameover animation scene is also tied to this, because without best friends stuff, all I got was "Fuu erases Aya's memory near shrine and game quietly shows GameOver screen".

Edit: Yes, "Chase" scene also requires to be besties with Aya.
Finally, there's only one "Extra" scene, with swimming club. Scene text to "Shut-in" you need to unlock in-game, by talking with him when he's working. Probably after shoplifter scenes, but it works if you did everything save for final fight with Akame.

Eh, probably less to do with the instruction.

More likely:

1) People still feel restarting the PC is a pain in the butt, despite SSDs taking seconds now.
2) There is a Locale Emulator that removes the need to restart the PC... that sometimes works, and sometimes not. It's generally more for running the game, than extracting it.
3) Even with kanji in the folder path, there are sometimes japanese games that work regardless of changing the locale. I think it depends on which program was used to compress it (Some can maintain the original kanji, and if you have japanese language files installed, its sufficient to run with the locale emulator. Others can't maintain the kanji and turn it all moonspeak on extraction, breaking the program.).

So they might be thinking "x" worked, so why not "y"?
