What's silly to me is trying to sell your learning/practice garbage on Patreon or wherever. Picasso got away with paying his bills with his napkin doodles (until they were too valuable, "I want to pay the bill, not buy the restaurant"), but that's rare. Personally until my skills were 90% polished I'd be embarrassed to show what I make to anyone but me and maybe a couple of friends if they promised not to laugh at or roast me while giving feedback.

Last I checked, I'm not selling anything. While I do give updates to those who donate sooner now, most were supporters before I started that.
BTW, if I was looking to sell this game, I would be on steam or something similar. I am not, nor will I be with this game.
Also, just as an FYI - the main reason I posted it here was to get feedback, as I don't want my friends and family to know the type of game I am making.

I don't know if I have gotten far in the game but based on where I am at, but Tom has taken advantage of a emotionally and physically drained mother who is lacking any sort of loving from her husband and also keeping his twin knockdown and dirt to gloat over him to let him know that he is the better twin. Tim, unfortunately, seems like the stereotypical lad who life just craps on and doesn't see any to out unless it is to leave the household. Mom, like I said, is emotionally drained and desperately trying to keep her family from falling apart. It seems like your typical American household these days.

From my perspective, all what Tim wants, it seems from where I am in the game, is some sort of acknowledgement (physical or emotional) from his mom. At least that is what I'm seeing from the point in the game I am at. From the start, Tom is the type, that if a bus coming at full speed and he step off a curb, I wouldn't save. He is worm and disgusting piece of filth that walked the virtual plane.

The creator/author does a great job of pushing emotional buttons whether they be good or bad..

I will always root for Team Tim.

My guess would be that you are trying to load a save that is no longer valid.
'tags' is one of the first variables created in the game, and has been since version 0.05 or 0.06 (?)

But I started from the beginning and I'm not even using the old save, all I had to do was save it and I can't always load the error.

At what point in the game are you saving?

The variable 'tags' keeps track of all the stats, such as player choices (including name choice). It is one of the first variables set up in the game. When the game is reloaded from a save, the current version of the game is updated in tags[0], which is where your game is faulting. Stepping through the code, I see where saving before making a name choice could give you that error. If that is not the case, let me know and I will do what I can to figure it out.

Before saving, doing a <shift>O and then typing in tags <enter> will show you what's in the tags variable. If it exists when you save it, it should exist when you load it.
