You know what, if you do this and I find it compelling I'll spend the extra and just add both.

Should Serperior be added over Dragonair

There are many things that compose the entirety of the world and while less so are important to the people, there are many still. One of the most important characteristics to their lives, and arguably the most so, is perhaps human emotions which dictate many whether it’s to their awareness or not. Emotions such as happiness, lust, and sadness dictate a person’s mood and consequently their actions, plenty of times overpowering their super ego, their logic. The other most important characteristic that a human possesses is perhaps their ability to think as is taught to and required, for the majority of English speaking countries at least, in school which its purpose is to teach young people who don’t know how to think efficiently to do so. It can then be established that Serperior should be added to the game because it satisfies the emotional and logical quota better than Dragonair.
As emotion is too broad of a subject but important nonetheless, it is necessary to narrow down a specific emotion, and perhaps the emotion that pertains the most with respect to the contents of the game is lust. As the game is sexual in nature, it only makes sense that lust which pertains the most to sex is the most relevant emotion, and with this being the case, there are two main characteristics which incite lust in people namely personality and aesthetics of which Serperior is certainly superior to Dragonair in these regards. There are many categories of each that Serperior is better, but to keep things simple, this will focus more on personality and general aesthetics. To start with, Serperior is a very prideful Pokémon that will only “[give] its all against strong opponents who are not fazed by the glare from Serperior’s noble eyes,” and while this may seem rather off putting at first, this is ultimately a corruption game ( ). Perhaps the most satisfying character type to corrupt is a proud character, and this is because unlike one with a weak will where you expect them to be easily corruptible, a proud character is satisfying to corrupt because they don’t appear to be so, and this creates a gap moe effect, an effect where one feels happiness due to the prospect of another acting outside of the beholder’s initial prediction. An example of this is the difference between seeing a kuudere smile and a deredere smile; one rarely sees a kuudere smile and will therefore feel more satisfied when they finally do. For this reason, Serperior is a greater addition to the game because it comes off as a kuudere as opposed to Dragonair who would probably be more of a dandere, who similarly “tend to flee when they sense danger” ( ). Aesthetics is much simpler though because quite simply, Serperior has the better design. Where Serperior has markings patterns, and facial complexion resembling that of royalty, Dragonair is much simpler and lacks certain features that would really make it stand out. One is perhaps more inclined to feel lust towards a beautiful empress rather than the day to day female. Nevertheless, Serperior is superior to Dragonair in appealing to lust because of its proud personality and its regal aesthetics as opposed to Dragonair’s skittish personality and bland aesthetics.
In addition, it’s quite certain that in essence, despite its adult nature, Pokémon Cultivation is still a game, consequently making gameplay a necessary concern, and in this regard, Serperior is more logical to add in than Dragonair because Serperior surpasses Dragonair in battle potential and the game still needs a grass type to breed. To start, it’s necessary to assert that one must stay topical in addressing the prompt, and the creator wishes to know what snake they should add to the game. The logical train of thought then is that Dragonair’s evolution, Dragonite, shouldn’t have an impact in the decision as it’s no longer a snake nor snake like, and subsequently it shouldn’t be added if it can evolve since the question is about snakes, but in practice, this isn’t and will not be the case because people don’t tend to fully read the topical question. Nevertheless, whether Dragonite is added into the question or not, Serperior still has it beat in terms of battle of potential provided that the creator gives the player access to Serperior’s hidden ability, contrary. With contrary, Serperior turns from a mediocre speedy tank to a battle monster. To start, it serves as an answer to the common ability intimidate as it not only negates the debuffs but becomes a buff instead, and this ability paired up with the move leaf storm will turn Serperior from a punching bag to a ramping threat that can sweep with its high speed and tank a decent amount of damage. Some may then argue that Dragonite is a pseudo-legendary with a higher base stat total and a better moveset. This argument is inherently flawed because a Pokémon viability isn’t determined solely by its base stat total but also its stat distribution. A big reason why Serperior is so good is because its base stats prioritizes speed and defense which are needed to outspeed a fast enemy Pokémon and tank a hit to set up a contrary buff which provides the high damage it requires. The base move set (because I don’t really feel like looking through all the TMs and HMs) of Serperior is also better for its kit in its ability to learn Leaf Storm which benefits from contrary and gives Serperior a two stage stat increase rather than decrease as opposed to Dragonite’s which while powerful are also unreliable with low accuracy or inability to change moves. Of course, it must be conceded that the above is only true if Serperior is given access to its ability contrary, and otherwise, Dragonite is the superior Pokémon in combat potential. Going forth, yet again, the second part is much easier to address in that currently the game does not have a breedable grass type but does currently already have a dragon type in Noivern, and the addition of Dragonite would be a redundant and overuse of the dragon typing which provide the exigence behind why it shouldn’t be added over Serperior. In summary, Serperior beats Dragonair in both its battle potential, topicality as a snake, and variety as a breedable grass type which is currently not in the game.
Then it is now evident that Serperior has got Dragonair beat in the ability to generate lust and value in the current state of the game. In topicality to the question, Serperior has Dragonair beat, and it would be the better Pokémon to include in the game over all. For these reasons I affirm the pro ballot: Should Serperior be added over Dragonair in the game, Pokémon Cultivation.

Ok going to have fun with this but forgive me if my spelling is a little off.

You post is a matter of opinion period.
Your take on Serperior's personality is solid I'll give you that...BUT ALL OF THE POKEMON WE GET FOR BREEDING DON'T ACT NORMAL! So this is largely irrelevant.

Aesthetics...ever heard of the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder? If I was going off looks alone I'd vote Arbok or Serviper because I love there colors but that's what I'm saying. Aesthetics is based on opinion not fact's. What could be seen as a fact is a good reason for Dragonair's simple looks is because it's a gen 1 pokemon and Serperior is fucking gen 5 so yes it's bloody simple. Also this thing fly's with it's ears. No real point in pointing this out I just find that fact funny.

Gameplay and the need for a grass type good point if grass wasn't already common and the fact we have a Vaporion but that just feels like a copout. Won't change the fact this is why Eevee teams work because the bugger cover's so much. The snake body plan...you got me there even if the rumer that Dragonair originaly would evolve into Garados but that's not the world we live in.
The ability Contrary is funny; it can be vary useful or do next to nothing plus you have moves like swagger that buff you in exchange for confusing you would now debuff you while still leaving you confused but your right in that leaf storm works wonder's for it Dragonite on the other hand gets multiscale and that halves the first hit you take if you have full health and so far shadow moves keep 1 hit KOing me so make's me wonder is this would stop that. Dragonites stats are also naturally higher in all but speed...with the pokedex saying the fucker can fly around the world in 16 hours make up your fucking mind gamefreak is Dragonair slow or fast! Dragonite also has less common weakness's to Serperior and a vary large move pool to the point it would be faster to make a list on what it can't do

Redundant dragon is indeed redundant if I had to pick then I'd keep my bat booty!

So Serperior is NOT clearly a winner over Dragonair it has both good and bad thing's going for it and if I'm being quite honest I would be happy having ether of the two in game but think's to your insanity we get BOTH! So thinks for giving us more shit to bang please don't do it again

I love debating. I will have a great deal of fun with this as well despite knowing that neither of us will ever have the "correct position" or will be able to suade the other to an alternative one.

To start with though, correct; my essay is opinion based. Many things are. This is an argumentative essay, and the point of one is to assert an opinion or claim answering a question using a line of reasoning, which doesn't necessarily have to be fact based. Correct again; for the most part, the Pokémon we get don't act normal. I feel that there were exceptions, but since my memory fails me, I'll take your word for it that they are all are abnormal. Nevertheless, it doesn't necessarily mean that personality is irrelevant just because the Pokémon act out of norm. It appears that the extraordinary student is expected to hold great mental capacity and do so, but their excellence doesn't become irrelevant just because they appear to be in the presence of other abnormal students. You're right once again that the essence of aesthetics is ultimately based off opinions and therefore not fact based, but despite that, facts can be derived from trends, and it appears that detail is a favorite in all communities. No matter the region, women wear makeup, and both men and women like to dress up. Sure, there is not currently one uniform opinion or an objective aesthetic despite the beliefs of philosophers, but there are aesthetics that tend to be more favorable to a greater amount of people, and Serperior seems to more closely resemble the aesthetics that people today tend to value. The difference in gen doesn't mean anything in this context if I am to be frank. A caveman is still caveman and modern person is still a modern person. The difference in time doesn't necessarily mean that a modern person who knows that a caveman doesn't have the tools that is currently accessible to a modern person will suddenly perceive a caveman as more attractive. Yes grass types are plenty common, and yet the point I brought up in the essay was the lack of a breedable grass type, and in that regard, grass is quite rare indeed. Contrary is indeed a funny ability and certainly a physical attacker, which Serperior isn't locked into, would be heavily affected by swagger, but moves like swagger are relatively uncommon anyways, and moves that debuff the opponent are far more common which contrary benefits from greatly. Certainly multiscale is a great ability that can help Dragonite set up dragon dance relatively safely, and that is true, and yes certainly, Serperior has many common weaknesses, but Dragonite is not really far behind. Barring rock, ice, dragon, and fairy are among some of the most popular offensive typings that are also relatively easy to access.

In any case, certainly Dragonite is a great Pokémon and of that I cannot dispute, but certainly the points I make can't be irrelevant at least not for the reasons you gave. Additionally, while I do enjoy debating, this appears to be the extent of my Pokémon knowledge, so address this if you will, but I cannot guarantee that I will respond. On another another note though, I don't know why, but I just keep finding it funny to see the phrase "bat booty". Maybe because both words start with "b" I don't know.

Edit: Oops didn't see that last part. Of course it's not clear for this isn't an objective argument, but in arguments it's necessary to assert as such anyways to make the illusion that we know what we're talking about. I give no promises as long as the game developer permits such a "contract", but it appears that this is an exception and will be the only one, and hence I probably won't write another essay regardless.

Yes Debates are fun especially when you find someone that won't take it to serious. I tend to do it so that other's may learn something new. Rarely it's to put someone in there place but for you that would be a disgrace (for you it's for fun learning!)

Abnormal pokemon. Ralts is running around attacking people. This pokemon is normally trying to run away from people. Vaporeon is also attaching boats for some reason. Any time I see Vaporeon not following commands they seem rather lazy. The other's seem a bit rushed if I'm honest with the fox just being greedy.

Aesthetics This will never have a right answer. Even where you are raised will have an impact. I brought up the differences in gen because it's vary impactful to how a pokemon looks. Today it would be vary unlikely you would get something like ditto, voltorb, or dratini but back then there was a limit on how much detail you could put into a game. They also couldn't just change the design to much when they added them to the anime or later game's since you want kids to see the connections. Not the deep thing's like pokemon and humans having family's together. So if Dritini and it's line today was just being made for the first time I'm positive they wouldn't look the same.

Contrary I used swagger because I simply didn't remember the name of it's counter part but I have it now Flatter! It's the same as swagger just raising special attack instead of normal attack. Then there are thing's like entrainment that make's your pokemon starts the same at the caster. Gastro Acid that flat out says you no longer have the contrary ability and haze that simply resets all stat changes to everyone.

Breedable grass...we all have the need to breed. Including the grass

Dragon weakness...my age is showing with this one. I have to keep reminding myself that they are not as bad to deal with as it use to be. I'm still getting use to the Fariy type. It also doesn't help that I don't really use dragons types. I tend to gravitate to steel types and much to my displesure most evil teams really like to use bloody fire types!
