I usually play this game with a girl as a main character.
I did some male character with the mod thing but after the interview I am not able to make them join me. What can I do?
Have any of you a template where it is easier or possible to make them join you?

It`s not a strange, that noone posted dev vers here. All messages with "share 0.8 pls" are deleted, cause developer in thread and reported all those messaes.

Guys stop begging and being A**hole, please. If someone is willing to share, he/she will do it, if no one wants to share, no one will do it, as simple as that.
The dev here is one of the greatest things about this game, he doesn't care if the feedback came for one of his patreons members or just one random guy on this forum, and doesn't mind people sharing his work for free here since the beggining of the post, what's the point blaming him cause no one has shared it?....
Just wait, or be a decent person for once and if you are so desperate to play, just head to his patreon and support him at least this time.

Great game! I have been having fun playing as each version is released. However, 0.799, for me, seems to be quite punishing in the beginning. If memory serves, I had a high level medical adviser (damn near 10), full funding, and an std epidemic threat hovering around zero. However, the percentage of girls getting an std was approx. 20 precent in a given month. Also, 3000 a pop to treat plus time away was punishing to say the least, which killed my desire to play, which is a shame because I wanted to check out the new and improved marketing.
My questions:
Was that by design to force a small roster of stars on contract?
Was it some negative integer error in the calculations? (I tried to find how it works, but it seems this is new to this version) ... I wouldn't mind a sneak peak under the engine, unless u plan on scrapping it in a future update.
Somewhat related, the pregnancy rate seemed rather high, but that didn't bother me because I could turn it off.
Overall, I really like the direction this game is going after reading your post #5,601. I especially liked the changes to recruiting. It seemed more realistic and logical. I would just caution about feature creep, as that has killed a lot of promising indie games. As for content, I wouldn't mind some redone animation where we can see the girls faces, but I read u hate doing the animation and this is a business simulator after all, so no biggy.

i've changed how std work in v0.8, although the numbers still arent super balanced.
in 799 and earlier there was a time period when girl can be infected but you didnt know until the test came. during this time she could infect a lot of others and you have a litlle epidemic.
now you're tagged as infected the moment you get a std. the weekly/monthly testing just lowers the chance of getting it in the first place.
sometimes realism in games just isnt good, which is a thing im slowly learning lol
-it was. in my head there was always: contract chicks = most valuable ones.
but others have different approach to the game so i made that you can choose the number at the start.
-preg isnt really that high. if you cum inside its 20%. if you clicked OK on a very inconspicuous prompt on your first visit to the street that number raises to 70%.
maybe you did that?
i simplified a lot of things for v0.8 for this reason. it was slowly getting out of hand and needlesly complicated.
i'll continue animation when they fix some things in godot. it's impossible to work with it when you have more than 10 animation tracks.

1) When I set up a movie in my movie studio, the description always ended up with a simple category. i.e boy and girl came out as boy and girl. But when my PA sets it up, it always has more than one category. Even though in the same studio, same filter etc. Why?
2) I don't often use my PA to set the movie up because they always use the same actress/actor. I already limit 1 movie per actor weekly but still my PA used the same actor. It's become irritating because my other performers always become upset so I had to use the above solution. Because of that, i can only published limited categories for my movies. Is this a bug and can I ask my PA to pick the earliest last scene actor for my next movie?

Did the population of this site just kind of die off? Used to be stuff always got uploaded the day it dropped. Now at least 6-8 of the threads I follow have some form of "x version came out anyone have it?" that are weeks or months old. Or are the sites they were getting stuff from all shut down now?
this game is not popular enough to be shared quickly. maybe it's the lack of landlords.
there were whole release cycles when it didnt get updated here. theres still links to a year old build on the first page even if newer version is free to download.

Nah don't put your game down there like that. Since I prefer management and char-creation games in general I think its one of the best games out there so far.....'or maybe it's just me ;-; '
Though I wish the visuals were more....refined? (like the art in David Balsamique's games hehe)
I do think that the population here are segregated too, some of us like me mostly stay silent and wait patiently, some are the open and constructing ones, others are the posters or mods.
Speaking of the game, on every versions since 0.795 till 0.799, I can't seem to get automated production in my studios, PAs do nothing to schedule things etc. Any ideas why?
you get a report in mail of what went wrong in 799 so you can figure it out. if theres no reason, then only way to help is to send me a savegame

Yes there some bugs like male casting doesnt work automatically, so I have to do castings the manual way, which can be pretty much work.
I couldn't choose a PA for Castings either. But I don't know if that was your intention. Female castings work automatically.
Sometimes the stats of characters will stay after a dialog, but if you skip time or change location to world map it disapears again.
