The auto-scheduling with .074a is still confusing me.
I have 26 girls, 6 boys and I have 2 studios, both setup for auto-scheduling with:

All of my girls are setup as follows:
The 1 scene per week restriction was ignored for 3 of the 5 actresses and 1 actress was scheduled within her popularity penalty time frame.
The way I would hope that auto-scheduling would work would be to schedule an actress to avoid any possibility of the popularity penalty, so don't schedule actresses if

- Cast actors in line with global trends : Off (disabled since I don't have a PA tracking trends)
Studio 1:
- Default scene title : Auto 1

- Type Focus : all
- Category Focus : all
- Shooting Days : All checked
All of my girls are setup as follows:
- work in both studios
- have at least 1 scene type enabled (no GG or MFF)
- can't take drugs
- Max scenes per week is 1
- Auto 2 52 : Mon Feb 20 Actress Faith Moore , last scene published Feb 5, no problem
- Auto 2 53 : Tue Feb 21 Actress Natalie Rodriguez, last scene published Feb 11, no problem (60 popularity)
- Auto 1 49 : Tue Feb 21 Actress Emilia Rodriguez, last scene published Jan 27, no problem
- Auto 2 54 : Wed Feb 22 Actress Cynthia Howell, last scene published Feb 16 (popular penalty expires Mar 2)
- Auto 2 55 : Fri Feb 24 Actress Natalie Rodriguez, last scene published Feb 11, scheduled 3 days before on Feb 21

The way I would hope that auto-scheduling would work would be to schedule an actress to avoid any possibility of the popularity penalty, so don't schedule actresses if
- they would have the popularity penalty on the day of the shoot (since it is possible the scene could be published the same day)
- they have unpublished scenes
- they are scheduled for scenes
If your vision for how auto-scheduling should work is different, could you explain how you see it working to clear up my confusion?

scheduling happens every monday.
max scenes per week option being ignored must be a bug. i've made that option to avoid all this. i'll check and fix.
chick doesnt get popularity penalty from shooting a scene but publishing it.
even if the girl is in penalty frame and she shoots 3 more scenes in 1 week it doesnt matter for the penalty.
it does matter WHEN you publish those scenes.
PA with publishing role wont publish scenes with pop penalty. (will also prioritize low happiness websites)
this does result into having a backlog of unpublished scenes from the same chick, which can't be published coz of penalty. with all studios operating this list can be really long.
i am aware of this and will make some changes in the next udpate. what exactly idk yet.
one thought i had was just removing pop penalty completely.
pop penalty is from the early days and was put in to avoid breaking the game on day 1. like getting 1 girl and shooting with her forever.
with happiness mechanic in place you cant do that anyway, coz if you shoot too much she'll become unavailable for 7+ days.
i'll just have to test few stuff and see how everything pans out.

@mbmb I'm getting that same bug that @the_fake was talking about (I'm playing 0.74a). It seems like a girl's (and even some of the guys) stats will just randomly decrease by a lot for no apparent reason.
For example a girl can have sex skills 80 and intellect 70 and all of the sudden one day both stats are around 15. Even if you have the cheat menu open and manually change the stats, the stats for some reason still drop the next day or so for no apparent reason.
** Actually think I figured it out.. Whatever a person's Potential number is, (ie 35), over time all other stats either revert to 35 or stay below that (regardless if they're an addict or not)

One more post about auto-scheduling (and my last for this version), this time I have 24 girls , 9 showing as available. I did not schedule or publish any scenes for 2 weeks prior to this test to make sure all of the girls were past any popularity penalty phase and there are no unpublished scenes.
Have a single studio and Office Expansion 1
PA's (level 5) production settings: 0 happiness limit, Prioritize best stats OFF, Type and Category set to ALL, all days of the week.
All the girls options (avail and unavail) set to Studio 1, Solo only (so no confusion with male availability), no drugs, 6 scenes per week
Auto-scheduling produced 1 scene to be shot 2 days later.:'(
At this point I'm giving up on auto-scheduling for this release, but if you need any additional information or more testing for it, I'd be happy to help.
I've had some employees just disappear for no apparent reason (an editor and a director that I remember). I'm guessing they quit, but I didn't notice any message (if there is an onscreen message about that, an email would also be a good idea in case you miss the onscreen message).
The new Freelance/Contract features are interesting and will take some getting used to and would seem to provide a motivation to sign low level high potential girls to contracts. Will be interesting to play around with it to see when it is worth signing girls to contracts.
Having the exact stats show up for girls when mousing over them is nice so you can see the exact numbers, but I kinda miss the descriptions
The changes to manual scheduling are very welcome and I have 1 request for manual scheduling, could you add a 'Scheduled' category along with Available Freelancers, Unavailable and Popularity Penalty? I'm finding it very easy to schedule the same girl when she's already been scheduled a couple days before especially if you schedule for a week. There are work arounds for this like changing their names when they get scheduled or adding them to favorites and then reverting the change when your done scheduling, but I still mess up when doing this.

found the bugs with stats dropping suddenly and ignoring max scenes. will be fixed soon.

The tutorial needs to be updated. It says "Click on the girl and shoot your first porn scene". It doesn't mention clicking on the relatively small light grey camera icon on the dark grey background next to her.

We need to update a lot of things but I've been feeling under the weather lately. I've had a couple of hospital run ins (tough titties, I know), but I feel better overall.
