Newbie to this game with some Questions:

1. Is there a walkthorugh or a guide to give a new player up to speed in what to do? The game looks kinda intimidating in its complexity looking at some reviews and comments here

2. Is there a toggle to turn ON/OFF some content? for example hiding futa since I'm not a fan of that

3. How long is the gameplay you can expect from this?

1. Don't bother. It's 20-30h of your life to learn how this monster works, become a newbie. Then 100+h to graduate to a vet.
2. Option: hide futa. This'll affect portraits, is all. This game was made with futas in mind, so just do like me and look the other way when this or that scene plays. And futas are obviously the best breeders
3. 1000+ hours. 2000 if you're slow. Prove me wrong

There's not a good, up to date walk through that I could find when I started, no.

I hadn't thought about it, but I'm tempted to make one...

I don't believe so, sorry. You can manually avoid stuff you don't like, but as far as I'm aware there's no content filters.

You also won't be able to play my favorite character, as far as game mechanics go.

3. How long is the gameplay you can expect from this?

That's a trick question lol

Do you mean a single run, or total time playing in general.

Most of my runs are between two to four hours, but I'm pretty slow compared to some of the vets in here. I have a free play game that's about seven or eight hours. But my total time played is probably like 100 to 150 hours lol

This is a game that's meant to be played many times, rather than a one and done. It's not really a straight RPG like something like TiTS/CoC. On the upside, the actual gameplay is pretty dope. There's even an unlock system so that you can get new stuff for the next run. The game is also pretty hard for new players. Odds are you'll lose multiple times before your first win (unless someone like me makes a guide lol).

You guys can end runs in 2-4 hours? That's insanely fast in my book, i can easily spent 8-10 hours on a 30-day campaign... It's either me wanting to do everything best and/or the challenge rank that does that, but still x)

Yeah, that's how it goes if you wanna do it fast and efficiently. I still take my time doing a proper unique run where even though i'm doing the challenge climb, i'm having fun playing and meeting more of the challenge head-on. I'm definitely avoiding the alt-ending and Avy's world on chall 9-10 though, lol.

2 hours in and I still don't know what to do in this game even with the newbie guide... and there's just so much stuff and going on with the UI...not a fan of the all female with futa stuff too...I'll just get back to Cloud Meadow lol even if it's brain dead...maybe I'll pick up this game again if there was a proper guide and an uncluttered UI...shame...

Yeah, this one is more 'a game with porn' instead of 'porn with a game'. It took some work to get good at it, and there's still a ton I don't know.

I think the full notes for each patch are up on the patreon, but here's the patch notes from a few pages back

Characters:
5 new uniques
10 new species
2 new special worlds
Reworked some Evo special forms
Added some upgrade events for many unique characters with new skills etc.
Some new clothes/futa variants
Some species are now elite species (max rank spirits and world bosses). Can only have one elite in your party
Elite species are generally stronger and more unique now.

Gameplay/Combat:
- Added many global passive effects, obtained by beating short unstable portals every few days.
- When choosing exclusively from highlighted bonus professions/traits at character creation, you'll start with a special pet
- Spawning/destroying hives gives some skillpoints based on a portals native species
- Added new status effects strength/magic charges (Stacking effects giving lasting 10% strength/magic each)
- Changed some basic traits like strong/resilient etc. to affect base stat growth instead of being a multiplier
- Eggs created by maincharacter get a special trait. Gain various bonuses based on maincharacter and amount of these in party.
- Daily arena battle that increases difficulty/rewards of future daily battles when beaten.
- Camping duration reverted to shorter times, but doesn't restore stamina. (instead it sets it to a minimum if it was lower)
- removed level requirement for recruiting. Recruiter trait now increases lust after failed attempts
- firing characters in town has no morale penalty?
- quickruns start with less characters and you get a random essence
- removed stealth
- removed weather effects at turnstart (spreading water etc.)
QoL:
Quick/auto save always appear on top of the list. button to directly open save window.
Highlights saves of current file. no overwrite confirmation needed for same save
Hatchery shows a value for total genes of eggs
In combat, middle mouse button doesn't show character tooltip if the character is selected
Can see current ritual level of species in "other" character tooltip section

Other:
more events/scenes etc. (some in categories of existing gallery)
some changes to dating, but still a placeholder. I'll probably just rework it into something more simple/fun.
many bugfixes + smaller changes.

Reading even the simplest walkthrough I wish someone would record full playthrough of this game. I swear this is not my first management game, and I actually really enjoy this genre, but this is definitely not a type of game you can just sit in and do well without spending time on it. I bet I will get it sooner or later, but I need to rant somewhere and vent frustration

hmm, maybe its a bit too hard for me XD , found some annoying stuff too, if you want to see your sexskills you need to go t home and sex training , you cant see them in character info :'(. Also i non stop work at the bothel and maybe misisng important portals as its said in the chat , as i spamm sleep 6hrs to regein stamina

If you train 4 chars, put them in the brothel, they make money for you, you dont need to do it yourself then. I did 4 of my chars max on everything and made alot because when they are skilled enough, you can make that only rich people are allowed to buy them.

It takes a lot of testing, i was doing the same as you before, gangbanging and sleeping the whole day and then noticing i missed 4 king quests and got "game over" xd

you can see the sex skills in character info, or even in combat if you need it. hover your mouse over the "sexskills" section to get the popup with all the info. There is a LOT of things you can hover your cursor on to get more details, and i do mean A LOT.

Yes, you can raise the max sex skill level of every unit in the game, including your MC. To do so, you can use the "training" option in the farm, or the one-on-one sex minigame. Becoming master/god at one of the sex skills provides huge bonuses in the brothel, but also in combat (don't be vulnerable when fucking anymore, drain more energy from enemies, better chance at recruiting units...)

yes it is, but it's a more complete tool. You can raise multiple proficiencies at once extremely quickly, it's also one of the two ways to raise max proficiency (the other is in the farm) in sex skills. Every action from the quick sex training menu isn't available, but the active minigame is going to give you a LOT more sex xp, can raise proficiency caps, costs a lot less energy, and costs a lot less time.

You can actually check your sex skills the same way you can check any characters.

Mouse over the "-Sex Skills-" in the lower left corner.
You can also mouse over the other fields for their respective details.

As for the brothel, the main one that matters is the "Perform Show" option. You can only do this once per day. Its not worth spending all your time spamming the other options.

You should also try and grab high beauty characters to train up and place in the brothel for passive income.

You can do more than four, actually. And its worth doing if you can. You can have multiple rooms, and each room can be expanded up to 10 characters. Plus you should have a few in reserve so that you have characters you can rotate in and out to manage stamina/moral.

How the customer pool works is a bit archaic though, and I'm not sure I can explain it. I still haven't found a single go-to strategy to maximize profit.

Eh, they are the same, but they're also not really.
The sex button gives you more flavor text, detail, and fine control when the MC is having sex with a character.
Sex training gives less detail and fine control, but its way faster and lets you assign someone other than the MC as the 'giver'
