Okay, uhm..

I downloaded this game because the images I have seen here interested me and got me hooked, but I am having a problem.
I do not really understand how this game works at all

How do I manage my parte? I should supposedly be able to fight with the two other characters you can do at the start of the game besides the one you play but.. I am quite confused about it

Another question, does this game have any type of sound effect or anything of the sort? Because I can't hear anything when I play. I would like to learn how to play this but I'm struggling a lot on how to do the basics here.

So, just a warning, this game can be difficult lol

It's also more of a game with porn, rather than porn with a game like most of what you see around here. And its one that's meant to be played through multiple times. Each death you'll learn a bit more, until you stomping everything with crazy cheese strategies and seeking out hidden endings and characters lol

And yeah, the UI is confusing as hell... It seems to be the big make or break part of the game for people. Once you get use to it, its got a lot of convenient parts and ways to do stuff, but that's only helpful once you know what everything is for or why you'd want to get to specific information.

Okay, warnings done!

You can manage your party in two ways

First, from the Home location (Hotkey: H or space): Your party is the column on the left of character list. You can add party members by hitting teh Party button on the character cards. And you can remove party members by clicking the flowery X in the top right corner of their portraits.

Second, from the Character Overview (middle mouse button, or the bottom center of the map): This screen lets you drag characters between the locations. You can drag and drop a characters into or out of the party section to add or remove them.

The overview screen is really convenient once you get more familiar with the game, and I end up on this screen a lot. But a lot of it won't make sense until you get used to using all the various game systems.

Also important, the Prep Party screen (hotkey Q). This is generally the most convenient place to manage character gear. You can also manage gear from the character sheets, but I like this screen more lol

As for sound, I don't think so? I honestly can't remember. I can't think of any sound effects, but I have a bad habit of turning them off... so I don't think so but I might be wrong.

For some really basic advice to get you rolling:

Tip zero (too lazy to renumber...) I'd recommend starting on either 60 or 90 day runs. 30 feels way to short which makes the game much harder IMO, and 120 way too long. 90 was my sweet spot for a long time. Freeplay prevents you from unlocking a bunch of the fun stuff, so its worth learning on the normal modes.

First, the brothel is your friend. That's the best place for you to make the most money. Namely by putting characters with high sex skills and beauty into rooms to work for you. They'll make you passive income daily.

Second bit; don't recruit every NPC you can right away. NPCs require money daily, so start slow. Be picky. Look for high beauty stats (100+ IMO) to recruit and place the brothel. Don't forget to train them up a bit first.

Third, locations in the map that are yellowish orange have special events on them. Visit them during the day to see what's happening and see some of the unique events. Be nice to Pyrea. I like Pyrea lol

Money killed my runs more often than anything else starting off. Once you figure that out everything else falls into place pretty easily. And you'll have way more flexibility in exploring all the other mechanics and recruiting all the interesting unique NPCs.

Any idea how to trigger events with Unique characters in your party?
An_3 has events in tundra and cave biomes, Lumira (light spiritualist naga) needs to max her pussy mastery, other uniques need to be levelled up to 10 or 15 usually (yes, even Prylea who's max lvl 5, get her to 15 with potions). Unless the event is in a portal (an_3) they don't need to be in your party, it'll be town events.

Thank you very much for the in-depth explanation! I'll try to give this game another opportunity again soon

No probs, it got me to open the game again. And then I remember what I was working on. And now I'm playing again lol

I still think I might write a good, detailed guide. It'd give me a break from the other stuff I'm working on.

How have I never seen this game before? How much content is there?
Quite a bit. But the same disclaimers I made a couple posts above still apply here.

This is more like a 'game with porn' than 'porn with a game', so a lot of the content is the game itself. As a game, its pretty damn complete and a lot of fun. And there's a lot of porn that goes with it lol

But if all you're really looking for is the porn, you can find almost all of it on the artists twitter, e6, and what not.

I wish I had a play time counter. I've probably put more time into this game than most non-porn games. And easily more than any other porn game, save the big three. Mostly because I enjoy the game portion of it. I've kinda been playing all morning trying to unlock new characters. I still can't figure out what the heck I'm supposed to do for some of them :\

I just won my first game and I wanted to tell somebody. Kind of hard to brag to friends who've never even heard of it.
Prince, Trainer background, 30 days. It felt like the first ten days was just a messy scramble but somewhere in the twenties I finally felt like I was pulling ahead. This style of game is both really intriguing and also my antithesis. Gotta take some risks to pull ahead even when inside I'm screaming: "That's not safe, slow down and build up to it!"

The highlights: Getting an Eyegirl really early, with Intelligent and Arcane (and Scales and Heavy). My endgame team mostly stood around defending and pulling aggro while this 30+ Magic maniac flew around bulldozing. I don't know if it's normal for all my rival fights to be against Creation but I sure appreciated all of her units taking double damage from my strongest unit.
-Siding with the harpies against the giant. "Hmm I wonder how hard she is?" -> A force of nature.
So I cheesed it.

Those four L.Shards were worth it though. Enough to get 15 levels in every category with two uses left. Somehow got the special sword and one of the 4 harpies was carrying another copy. But after leaving the portal I didn't have two of the sword and I was missing a suit of armour so I think either I or the game deleted the guy with my stuff equipped.
-I got something called "Wisdom" in my essence list, but it's green and I don't remember selecting it. The doubled exp is great, but I wonder where it came from.

Now I'm trying to wrap my brain around playing Creation. I'm trying to save Evo for last because it's clearly going to be my favourite.

Thanks for reading this self-indulgent wall of text!

Fuck, nice work. I still don't like playing 30 day games, they're so much harder than 60. Making that your first win is impressive.

Yeah, that's why I prefer 60 days lol

I never tried the eyegirl. What skills do they have? Are they frost based, I can't remember.

And yeah, when I was playing the prince I was basically fighting crea every fight. But when I play evo (most of what I play) I get both the prince and crea. I don't get it.

I made the mistake of trying to fight the giant once, and immediately save scummed, because I lost all my units. That fight is a PITA. I still haven't done it, and I probably won't ever bother. I can't imagine trying to grind it out like that.

Strange. It shouldn't just drop anything like that. Even when overloaded it makes you do it.

-I got something called "Wisdom" in my essence list, but it's green and I don't remember selecting it. The doubled exp is great, but I wonder where it came from.
Never seen that one. Green are usually special, does the druid have a unique quest or something? Something like the library maybe.

I wasn't a fan of creation at all. I ended up saving her until I had completed challenge level 10 and the 600% difficulty runs so I could use the really OP nonsense to just rush through it. I still have to go back and get some of her unlocks, and I'm not looking forward to it.

Because I started with Evo. And I really prefer Evo lol

I picked it because the game said it would be easier :) Then I stuck with it because I figured the scaling over time would just blow right past me in a longer run. Then I read some posts here and I think I'll try a longer game.

I never tried the eyegirl. What skills do they have? Are they frost based, I can't remember.
They're pretty great. (I'm obviously biased) Frostflight, Freeze, Icebolt, Snow.
Frostflight doesn't inherit, works like the other flight skills but turns surrounding tiles to snow. (Doesn't knockback either) Doesn't affect the tile you land on though, which was awkward when the best place to target was a lava tile.
Snow affects the whole battlefield I think? Clears burns, freezes water and turns other tiles to snow.
Sometimes her ice damage moves would freeze things on their own.

Never seen that one. Green are usually special, does the druid have a unique quest or something? Something like the library maybe.
Maybe he gets something special for sparing the king? Although the rewards for that are already enough. There are so many events it's hard to keep track. I thought at first that it was a milestone for collecting three essences but I sure didn't see a prompt for that.

Speaking of Essences, Acid was a really great first pick that became less relevant later on. Doubled poison damage was fantastic for enemies with 30+ HP that would otherwise be a scary slog when you're only dealing single-digit damage hits. Although I believe it still doubled the capped DoT for bosses.
AirControl (+1 range to anything with a range greater than 1) made Frostflight even easier to use as a turn 1 nuke.
I only just read the "Lucky" ability of the catseal and I'm definitely bringing him along to every essence portal from now on. There are a lot of 'meh' choices!

I know the game says Prince is hard, and I picked him first because I figured slamming my face into the hard style of a hard game was a good idea, but he's really easy on the stamina bar. It's incredibly tough going from losing all my stamina to portal traversal, to spending it on summons, rituals, portals, character mods and probably more. Poor Crea (and presumably Evo too) must look like a narcoleptic.

Yeah, the game does like to lie about that lol

lol

Okay, now we need to teach you how to min/max this game so that you're getting melee hits for 100+. Add that in and you're going to be destroying these fights lol

My favorite essences are any that give you movement speed. Doesn't matter the form it comes in, I can't have enough movement speed. There's some other really crazy ones though. Like, I got a fusion mastery essence that lets me choose extra traits, which is neat. And I've got a combo going where most of my team starts with shields automatically, and shield gives a 50% magic damage boost. That's pretty busted now that I've got a kitsune in my team lol

I know the game says Prince is hard, and I picked him first because I figured slamming my face into the hard style of a hard game was a good idea, but he's really easy on the stamina bar. The game lies about that too. I'd put the difficulty at Crea > Druid > Evo, personally. A lot of people in this thread used to say the prince was by far the easiest, but Evo has way strong min/max potential.

But yeah, slamming your face into the game is basically the only way to start. There's so much that you need to learn all at once that you cant avoid, just brute forcing it is about the only way at first.

The secret to the stamina problems on the others is two fold: First, don't play on short lol

Short games mean less stamina potential. Longer games give you exponentially more potential stamina, because you're getting way more time to rest while still having only slightly more required things to do.

The second, for Crea/Evo, is picking up the stamina reducing perks. For Evo, I know that most of them are in shadow. I think there's one in insect as well. Reducing stamina use down to like, 5 sta per action is super helpful.

Thanks for being bored! :ROFLMAO:
Gladly lol

Druid is great for some specific achievements and easy to manage. It's an easy character, but not the strongest. And yes eye girl are great, but i always get them too late to bother. Fairies with telekinetic, arcane and ancient power are scary. Great way to hunt down the giant by the way. Blink and teleportation with shield are one of the easiest combinations.

I feel kind of silly asking this now, as it's been bugging me practically since first I booted the game up.
The popup screen whenever you submit a character to the tavern/library/fusion is really great with all those categories and the ability to sort both ascending and descending. I really appreciate it. But for the love of mercy how do you scroll to the next page? I can see the darn "page 1/3" label but there's no button/switch/slider anywhere. I've been marking units on a per-case basis as a workaround but it feels bad man. :HideThePain:

So I've been playing this game for about a week now. Followed the singular guide on the wiki (the druid one) until it stopped being useful. After some plentiful savescumming, I beat the game on day 30, getting carried by Aila, Xhana, and a kitsune.

I think I've mostly got the hang of it, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get Aila's lewdity to 10. Her highest lewdity action seems to be a 9, but it's hard to tell since none of her actions are labeled like Sylvie's are.

Is it just that the dating mechanic is unfinished or am I not seeing something?

As far as i know the dating is there and that's about it. it's not finished (all the town NPCS can't be dated yet after all) and Syv has plans to touch up the mechanics a bit (from the game's discord).

It's unfinished, but you can definitely get them all to 10. I honestly don't remember what her option is. All I remember is that her options are dumb and don't make sense.

What a blast to play with. Still a novice but this game scale is just breathtaking.
But the oddly silence still bugs me anytime I chose to unstick myself from the game to go get food. Overall an awesome experience.
I wonder what type of BGM and music will dev add to the game in the future ?

If he ever does. In the meanwhile, putting on a playlist in the background is 100% viable and pretty cool since you can choose. I like default silence more than a mind-numbing, maddening free-use music loop.
