There is a startup option called "Unlimited" which removes the caps on genetic level/stats (but enemies could also roll higher stats)

I also have the annoying issue of all my brothel characters resetting to the first room when I load a save, is there some sort of fix for this?

Not at the moment, dev is aware and will probably fix in the next version
you know.. i love how the game feels lately.. easier to understand it since it is mechanical and intuitive, it does take one run to get used to it but after its having fun with what you do mostly..
i am stil in first run but i am at a point that i need to do the final portal or gameover, but i am too weak (can't win end fight at the exit portal).
Is this game intended to need multiple runs? i don't want to lose all of the hours of playing, i was close to marrying my favorite character and almost made a party to S rank

There are plenty of things to unlock that will make your future runs easier (you can unlock traits to be available as the startup option on your starter units, requirements to unlock them are listed on the trait itself. You can also unlock hybrids to start with, to do that get them in game and level them to 10 and you will be able to get them as one of the starter units. There are other unlockables but alot of them require winning to get a new startup option for MC but traits and hybrids will make it much easier to win once you give your starters few legendary traits which are tricky to find). Also you can choose "Free play" option on startup, king quests will be optional, quest portals will only spawn when you click on them to spawn, you will have all the time you want to make your dream party
Personal fav (whenever I start fresh/from 0) was using boss bait to get the ability to some some Wisp thing (forgot the boss needed, think it was kitsune?) & having them explode groups.
okay then i will start a new game, by the way, the wiki is outdated, for example the A_complete_newbie_guide page does not work because negative starting traits to not give points back

That change was made because it was very easy to get a unit with all max traits from the beginning (take half good traits and rest bad traits and then on the other unit take the other half of good traits and the rest bad trait. After starting the game fuse them into one unit with 10 traits of your choice)
And as for wiki - it gets updated when some volunteer gets around to it, there is no dedicated staff
The game is intended for multiple runs, you shouldn't need to do a new run just to make it to the finish of a run though, there are multiple endings which have different endgame fights, but decent equipment and leveling up does a lot, i know for a fact you can solo it with nothing unlocked.
If you send pics of your party's stats and equipment i can offer some advice.
Generally speaking though: Is your equipment leveled up, are you and your party leveled, have you used mutagens and potions for traits/stats, do you have healing potions, are your skill selections good, stuff like that.

Hi guys.
Back after a year or two. Do you guys have any tips for fun chill playthroughs? Currently I am trying an all-out shadow team with Shadow Ghost, Lave Ghost, Shadow Djinn + ? (Thinking Void bringer or Celestial) with Evo which just nukes everything with Lightningstorm, Magic Missles and Shadow Wave.
Any suggestion for:
An all out melee team without casters? (traits, species, tactics, MC Build etc)
An all out seduction team?
Somtheing else?

And please explain the special portal to increase world level, it says i should claim 70% of a portal, and i claimed 8 out of 10 things which should be enough

without unlimited genetic cap is 25.
you can reach level 30 with potions no problem.
no, you can suggest to syvaron on the discord though.

How can I use my main character to breed the monster girls in the farm? I can't seem to find a way to put my character as a partner in breeding?

World level is increased by claiming 70% of the rewards from regular portals, also they need to be higher hostility than your current world level, also it is only for freeplay, maybe you are playing the timed runs if world level doesn't increase.
