The basic idea of renting out a club for Sterling's birthday has a lot of potential, although Brenna probably wouldn't invite some of those people.

On top of that the reason for the party can't be Brenna's birthday if you want that to be the guest list. Now if it's an end of the summer get together for everyone to celebrate then it becomes more plausible for all of them to attend. It has the makings of something workable but would need major tweaking to fit the story properly.
