We were discussing update frequency and you came out with these seemingly innocuous remarks:

... which, as I said, was fairly tame, but it comes across as thinly veiled self-aggrandizement, while
just vague enough for you to maintain deniability. It's one thing to call WWG slow, it's
another thing to say
other devs are faster considering
you are one, otherwise why bother posting something so
obvious. Maybe I'm reading too deep into it, and if that's the case then I apologize, but you can still take it as a lesson in careful communication.
"Ok. I’ve deleted my comments. i will apologize for my original comment, which implied there were developers out there who are faster then him. While meant to be cheeky fun, I see how it could be hurtful. I’m sorry"
... and this apology
almost admits guilt, but in a begrudging, half-assed way, like saying "sorry it was so easy for me to beat you up".
