I'd get it if people called it wordy, but grindy?

Grindy=doing the exact same thing over and over again, with a similar result, until finally, a tiny detail changes. Do it X times more and another tiny detail changes. This. Is. Not. Grindy.

For some people (myself included) the living room scene(s) with Ophelia, as well as the scene(s) in her bedroom are exactly what grindy means. I had to do the living room event a good 4-5 times before I could finally say 'This shit's done for today, now back to the characters I actually wanna see.'

It's not a bad grind by any stretch of the imagination, but having to go through the same Ophelia event, say 4 times, with minor variations to it will turn some people off.

I feel like this problem must have been addressed somewhere by now, but I cannot seem to find it.
I am currently experiencing this same error during Catherine's spa event 14.

No, seriously, how is it grindy? Grind means doing the exact same thing over and over again with no variation to boost something, but here there's nothing to boost, nor is it the exact same thing. Every itteration is a continuation of the previous thing, so that's the opposite of grind since you continue forward instead of paddling in place until you reach some requirement.

Well, first of all, there's no different outcomes for the scenes (except one or two per chapter), and second of all, what do you mean "replay" since you made it obvious you don't even want to play?

And joke's on you, the replay gallery just replays that storyline from the start so even if someone gave you the latest save file, you'd still have to do all the same work and all the "grinding".

But seriously, there's no grinding in this game. What do people think grinding means these days?

Now, for the people who don't care about the dialogue...yes, Power Vacuum is grindy. You'll have to grind a lot of word villains to get to the lewd scenes.

FAR to many games nowadays do not have that realistic build up and jump into the action to quickly. The whole point of these games, at least to me, is to have believable relationship that naturally turns into some form of a sexual one, that is WHOLE point, otherwise I would watch porn.
This game is probably one of the best on this site and most other games pale in comparison, in this regard.

Hell, I find even a game with realistic build up, once I seal the deal I start to lose interest, looking at you Mr.Dots. There are plenty of games that don't have believable characters/story, play those instead, leave this game untouched please, it is too good. It literally does everything right. Stop.

Idk tbh but like I said I really enjoy this game - the Dev communicates - his updates have a good amount of content and vanilla as well as NTR fans are catered to - not to mention he has a pretty good sense of humor(atleast one I enjoy) - this is one of the few games I really have no complains about - only sad that I discovered it really late.

I completely agree with you that the game isn't grindy. I feel the game is well paced,sex scenes make sense and dont happen out of nowhere and have a believable build up to them. But i can see why some people feel that the game is a bit repetitive , maybe due to the whole numbered events, i personally found the ophelia night scenes to be a bit boring and repetitive. I preferred the scenes with her in the yard, the living room or when she tries to make the MC get an erection, hell even futa game scenes but i just zone out as soon as the night events start, so much so that i have started to just skip through them.

So i get when people say it can be a bit slow at times.
Also it might be my personal bias bcoz ophelia isn't exactly my favourite character so maybe i find her events repetitive just bcoz i am not that interested in the character

A great point, that i don't see often talked about is just how well some Devs can manage to balance the build up to the sexual acts and the sexual acts themselves. To me personally that build up can be just as if not MORE important. If i may drop another game just as an example. A game i haven't played in a long time called Rocking Robbin, it wasn't a particularly great game, it isn't very popular, so it popped up recently with the newest update and i decided to play through it and i can tell you I have no idea if the Dev got really lucky or hit some kind of creative genius streak, but the way he wrote the relationship between 1 particular female character in the game and the MC and their scenes of build up and tension it was one of the best scenes of it's kind i have seen in ANY game. I can honestly say that, i think anyone that has played that game knows exactly what i am talking about, oh and the MC still hasn't had actual sex with that her, yet the scenes of them interacting and teasing immediately made me sub to his patreon.

So as i said, build up to the actual sex can be as good if not better than the actual sex scenes themselves, if done properly.

P.S. The game isn't grindy... come on people... You just aren't paying attention and if repeating some scenes bothers you so much you can finish them all in just a few seconds by holding down CTRL.

I not very care about what they say and I am not a Professional game expert.
The only thing I know is No matter which game author, they all pay a lot of time and energy for the game, just to bring entertainment to everyone. They are not easy. I think we should understand and support more. No matter what may make people comfortable or not in the game, you just choose your own preferences, don't force, and don't argue with the game author. These are unnecessary.Why don't we share more fun?
