No, seriously, how is it grindy? Grind means doing the exact same thing over and over again with no variation to boost something, but here there's nothing to boost, nor is it the exact same thing. Every itteration is a continuation of the previous thing, so that's the opposite of grind since you continue forward instead of paddling in place until you reach some requirement.
Totally. Don't get that at all. There're many grindy games out there (cough. Foot of the Mountains Cough), but this certainly isn't one of them, or someone has a very strange definition of grindy. Grindy=doing the exact same thing over and over again, with a similar result, until finally, a tiny detail changes. Do it X times more and another tiny detail changes. This. Is. Not. Grindy.
For some people (myself included) the living room scene(s) with Ophelia, as well as the scene(s) in her bedroom are exactly what grindy means. I had to do the living room event a good 4-5 times before I could finally say 'This shit's done for today, now back to the characters I actually wanna see.'

I kinda get it but if we re comparing it to real life that means wooing or dating is also grindy. You're trying to fuck your "housemates" in this game so it would make sense that it'd take a lot of work to convince them and besides every other game does the same thing uaing a lot mini games to stretch their content. I'd rather play it like this rather than play various stupid mini games that takes a lot longer to play than the actual scenes.

I really don't understand why you'd dl a porn game if you dont actually read/play them. why not just watch porn at that point? the quality of the writing/dialogue is about the same anyway with the average patreon porn game.
a major reason i play Power Vacuum is BECAUSE of your good writing so the "long" dialogue is welcomed
I usually lurk, but since the Dev is here, I have to say something. Please do not listen to these people saying it is to grindy or there isn't enough sexual content soon enough. FAR to many games nowadays do not have that realistic build up and jump into the action to quickly. The whole point of these games, at least to me, is to have believable relationship that naturally turns into some form of a sexual one, that is WHOLE point, otherwise I would watch porn.
Idk tbh but like I said I really enjoy this game - the Dev communicates - his updates have a good amount of content and vanilla as well as NTR fans are catered to - not to mention he has a pretty good sense of humor(atleast one I enjoy) - this is one of the few games I really have no complains about - only sad that I discovered it really late.

I completely agree with you that the game isn't grindy. I feel the game is well paced,sex scenes make sense and dont happen out of nowhere and have a believable build up to them. But i can see why some people feel that the game is a bit repetitive , maybe due to the whole numbered events, i personally found the ophelia night scenes to be a bit boring and repetitive. I preferred the scenes with her in the yard, the living room or when she tries to make the MC get an erection, hell even futa game scenes but i just zone out as soon as the night events start, so much so that i have started to just skip through them.
A great point, that i don't see often talked about is just how well some Devs can manage to balance the build up to the sexual acts and the sexual acts themselves. To me personally that build up can be just as if not MORE important. If i may drop another game just as an example. A game i haven't played in a long time called Rocking Robbin, it wasn't a particularly great game, it isn't very popular, so it popped up recently with the newest update and i decided to play through it and i can tell you I have no idea if the Dev got really lucky or hit some kind of creative genius streak, but the way he wrote the relationship between 1 particular female character in the game and the MC and their scenes of build up and tension it was one of the best scenes of it's kind i have seen in ANY game. I can honestly say that, i think anyone that has played that game knows exactly what i am talking about, oh and the MC still hasn't had actual sex with that her, yet the scenes of them interacting and teasing immediately made me sub to his patreon.
