After playing this to it's temporary completion, I can give my opinion.
Over all, I really enjoyed this game thusfar and I'll be returning for future updates just to see how much pain and misfortune Hunter goes through with his dead body man ass.

On my PC (and presumably yours if using windows), punch the following into a file explorer window-
%appdata%\RenPy\PowerVacuum-1561592800
Throw your save in there and you should be good to go. (there is a chance the number following the game title will be different)
Overall I'm relatively satisfied with the meat of chapter 9, hopefully you'll enjoy yourself with it.

Maybe the official Chapter 9 release is delayed a bit as dev deals with the migraine of reading pages and pages of people not understanding a beta release.

This update is great for Brenna fans. Overall I enjoyed most of it, I don't really have any major comments about anything except what most other people have been saying: I don't really like Ophelia's heel-turn.
It felt super out of nowhere. I hope it can be flipped on its head, but judging from the writing this is how it's going to be. Maybe I would have been more on board if it felt like it fit the character. Hell, Mallory taking that role feels like it would make more sense.
Maybe it's just not to my taste. Hopefully the majority like it, though. Oh well, still excited for what's to come next update. Curious how Drew will slot in.

About the Ophelia development:
A domineering, tall, thicc, older, lactating Mommy?! Does the dev reads my fucking Christmas list or something!?
But now seriously, I think it's obvious that this is not gonna stand at least as it is right now, she is on both a power trip and a rage binge so it's the absolute worse state of mind you could be with someone in your care.
My theory is that she is either gonna push MC away or unintentionally hurt him and BAM she is back to mom mode but now assertive and an actual authority figure.
And now, really, the one character that HAD to have this change was Ophelia, she said it herself: everything is out of control and she can't put it back together, she is frustrated and exhausted in every possible way, Hunter is paying her bills and she is unemployed as if she were a child, and ESPECIALLY her kids walk all over her without a second thought.
I remember a few people talking about how stupid or hypocritical MC is in this forum and I disagree with all the assertions that were made but where I do find MC hypocritical is in his treatment of Ophelia.
When Catherine is humping his leg and begging to get some he goes all strong and mature and "No, don't say I love you, you need to understand consent, etc.", Then he goes after Brenna fishing for the "I love you" and while he did misjudge the situation half a dozen times, the one time when he ignored Brenna's "stop" he fucking learned from it showing that he at least respect her somewhat.
Ophelia never got that little courtesy, at every turn MC was trying to go further and further with her no matter what he had to do, and when she said NO, she would invariably receive a "but what I'm doing is ok, I swear" until she forgave him and then he would try again, to everyone who disliked this occurrence it's because they don't like femdom and while it's my cup of tea what makes me really love this new development is that Sterling is finally getting his comeuppance with the woman he absolutely refuses to respect.
And surely it's gonna get better but boy every volcano has to erupt before calming itself and I'm looking forward to Ophelia's turn into a fucking dictator before she goes back to her nurturing and caring self.
Also just to suggest, can we drop the madre and change it for mommy when she goes back to being nurturing but also dominant? Please? Thank you.

Yeah each of the girls seem to go through the falling out of love /pissed at MC phase before forgiving him, I don’t think Ophelia is going to stay like this.
