Problem is that it means it's illegal in some countries which is the ONLY thing that VISA/Mastercard cares about and when SS gets bigger they will take the same action as they've done with Patreon, no way around it.

So yes, it matters VERY much what you can pay with. Only way around it in the long run would be crypto but thatäs too insecure.

The patch is only mandatory because of Patreon. It's not his fault Patreon sucks and is extremely inconsistent on who they target. This game even with the patch is a lot tamer than some of the shit still on there.

Latest update in the patreon saga. It would be best if F95 removes the links here, so WWG won't have to change his URL. If WWG is the one to change his URL, every site, not just f95, will no longer work and WWG will lose a lot of traffic to his page. Old links will no longer work and people may mistake that as WWG no longer having a page or working on the game.

Best case scenario is F95 removes the links from the front page and WWG gets to keep his current URL.

I'm sorry, what? When exactly did the US change into a dictorial state, run by corporations? And no, I'm not talking about Patreon.

Patreon "may be held accountable" for what WWG does with his money? Why the fuck would they? Aren't we allowed to do whatever we want with our money anymore? If there was some concern from where the money came from, I'd somewhat understand, but where the money is going? Come on! That's bullshit! This shouldn't be allowed to hold up in court, but if Patreon is obligated to follow those rules, I'm certain their legal team already checked the legality, meaning corporations once again have free reign to do whatever they want.
