In my life I did many projects and many times when I thought I was close to be done with it... then I started to see problems so my first reflex was to correct those mistakes... and then I got better ideas how to improve so then I continue to work on it and then I realise I am nowhere near close to finish so I take more time despite the fact that I believe I was close to finish.

Many people have the same reflex and in this case. If WWG had this happne to him, I am more than happy to let him take time. Because I remember the flaws of the previous chapters and I would have been willing to take them later but with more content rather than now with those flaws. As I said previously :

I remember what if volume 8, and while I LOVED that what if, there is so many ways it could have been significantly better if it had more time. We could have seen more of Sterling trying to talk to Mallory and realised that she is only interested in Opehlia Now, that would have made a much more "alive" story then what we got, where Sterling just says that Mallory wants nothing to do with him. If we had seen that Sterling-Mallory discussion while Ophelia is breeding another girl and Stelring isn't aware of what is happening... Show don't tell is always more effective.

Or I remember Kevin NTR ending of chapter 12, and while it is good, it could have been significantly better if we had seen Sterling REACTS to Kevin taking both Brenna, Ophelia and Catherine. Because in the final products, we never see him learn that Ophelia got pregnant from Kevin. In this NTR ending it lacked a cuckold aspects.

More time of development on both of these would have made them significantly better. Now when I played what if volume 8 and chapter 12 for the first time, was I happy I got them sooner rather than later? sure... But Once I got them and I had an opportunity to play them, that "sooner" aspect is gone and now the focus is on what is NOT in the final products. Specifically the content that would have made these chapter much stronger in the long run.

What you're talking about kind of reminds me of the "mystery/hidden ntr" style that you see in alot of Japanese ntr games. The more you can get the MC involved withing the ntr scenario the better really. I've always wanted to see a variant version of the Sean harem what if 7 where Sterling would have already formed a strong loving(and somewhat physical?) relationship with the family. A version where he still goes back for his phone and sees what Hunter is up to, but Hunter doesn't give a shit and still coaches and trains Sean lol.

Anyone can complain, but there's a difference between disappointment and entitlement. People shouldn't expect sympathy just because they had to wait to get something for free.

The dev technically doesn't have to explain himself, but it's in his interest to do so. He's built up a lot of good will by being regularly communicative. Too many unexplained delays could result in a loss of subscribers, and reputational damage. It's up to each subscriber to decide where their threshold is to stop supporting, but trying to convince supporters that they should stop is a stupid pursuit of a Pyrrhic victory.

If we look at the trend of earlier releases, dev cycles have gotten longer and longer, but I think it's fair to say that the volume and quality of content increased in correlation. Anyone that appreciates the writing is hoping for a great ending, which puts more pressure on the dev to get it right. The visuals are probably 99% complete: we've had nearly 300 teaser pics and a handful of animations, far more than we ever got during a previous chapter's development.

Ignoring obvious hyperbole, one thing I will concede is: if the dev doesn't beat his latest estimate of a late July release, this game will earn a (temporary) "abandoned" tag, per this site's Game Uploading Rules:

Abandoned: used in the following cases:

• The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
• After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).

All productions on AVN's no matter how large or how much story or how much graphics takes 1 year and 6 months at least right and we don't even know if we will see Jan 2026 because it's already been a year and a half and we still have no update. Can anybody be for sure and has inside information that the rest of us don't have or are yall going to say it sould be soon like always or I hope it's soon. I play completed games only for a reason, the few games that I played before their completion are either a shitstorm or updates take forever.

But this thread is a double edged sword because this thread was already in a kinda shitstorm because of NTR/anti ntr and now the update is also delayed.

If the release date is pushed out, I hope he clarifies the situation at least two weeks in advance.

Whatever difficulty he had at initially, there was no need for him to conceal it just to expose it in a later post when he wanted to move the date forward again. This makes him appear really dishonest.

And that's not even counting all of the development updates leading up to the stated March release date.
What was he talking about in those dev updates when he claimed 70%, 83%, 93%, blah-blah-blah? What was he completing? Has he altered anything? Is he redoing anything?

He isn't a new developer. He has been working on this for very long. He must understand how dishonest this all looks for him.
