I dont know about his first intention, if Hunter realy just want to get the girls, he would at least try to hide hes intention when MC move, and if Hunter says that Ophelia need to kick someone out, i dont thing she can fight just because its her house, if Hunter stop paying for everything, shes say she would live in the street with the girls, so i think Hunter had a small lead on that but refuse to use because his focus is find a successor. I guess we are going to find out only in the end.
I mean at the beginning Hunter probably wanted to make MC his succesor so he revealed his hand but he also thought that he would be cooperative and Sterling turned out to be anything but.
In one of the transitions of chapter to chapter Hunter was drugged and just threw a tantrum to MC complaining that he wasn't sharing in on the wealth, also Hunter seems to love the challenge on the bad ending where Sterling was taken off the picture Hunter won completely but looked unsatisfied maybe because he lost a successor or maybe because it was too easy without MC in the way.

That would certainly be a great finale to the game for Hunter — to go out with a big bang and to show Sterling how a true Dio Del Sesso does it!
… Not that it would be my ending, of course, but it's always interesting to see how horribly wrong something can go for the MC! It really makes the win feels so much better, when you know the alternative!
It's always better when you know the steaks. That's why I travel to a farm once a year to get to know the cows who'll end up on my plate.
An ultimate ending with Hunter, that is something I would love to see. I think it should be 3 endings in this game

I dont know who says something about parental figure for Lucia, we dont know if Drew is the father, the reason why i believe shes going to flip sides, its more about Hunter, who says he got surprise to see Drew falling in love with a girl, so its possible that he always was gay/trans, and fuck girls just to please hes father, and i dont thing Drew was training with Hunter all the time, Hunter says that he miss having a son and hide Drew from MC, so i dont know, why Ophelia and Aliza dont talk about his brother/sister?
