I uploaded my edited version so that the dog is there because no one knows how to do it, take advantage because there are 6 days left and it will be deleted. current versions do not have it.Did they remove beast content? The thumbnail has a dog and the mc but the in game gallery is just anthro
That happened to me as wellSo... you walk back and forth around a subway platform for 2min chatting, and done? There's nothing else?

If you're playing v0.2.7.2 then yeah, there's not any gameplay yet. Some previous versions have gameplay though, like v0.2.0.7That happened to me as well
My problem right now is that you ripped out the gameplay and made it an interactive virtual novel. Like is that permanent, or is this still an action game?Hello again, F95!
Yeaaaah, I'm not gonna lie or try to sugarcoat things, here. Things have been upside down and backwards, and it feels like wheels are just kinda spinning. As the third dev, I AM partial to some of the things being developed, but I don't know every detail.
I do know, however, and can personally confirm, that Sephra has been working on new animations. But Tib and Sephra have been focusing on engine updates.
I wish, just as much as everyone here, that we can get the actual update out, soon. I am horribly worried that it looks like inaction, and that people will lose interest in the project. This has been a passion of mine for years, and I REALLY want to see more progress being made on it.
I'm helping out where I can, when I'm not doing the basic PR and Bug Testing shit in the corner. Hell, I've even been writing some additional lore for the game. But until we et the engine updated, and the AI matches it all, I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement all of the new things I've personally watched Sephra making, in calls.
...Tl;Dr, I'm frustrated with the wait, too, and am trying to do everything I can to speed it up. I even went so far as to "model" for a few of the characters, when the animation was too janky to be considered realistic. Long distance mo-cap is a fucking trip.
When Predation first started, we were running on a rather obsolete game making platform, and after that, a bad engine. When we switched over to where we are now, we realized just how lacking the game was, and how much more could be done with it, so we are in the process of reworking the level for a brand new, MUCH better experience. My problem right now is that you ripped out the gameplay and made it an interactive virtual novel. Also why is the dog gone?
i don't suppose the dog would make a comeback towards the games final build would it? or is it perma gone? When Predation first started, we were running on a rather obsolete game making platform, and after that, a bad engine. As for why the dog is gone, Patreon came down rather hard on any content that involved feral animals. They went on to specify that an anthro furry paired with a feral animal is "rule breaking content", and any such content hosted on Patreon would be "dealt with".
As unfortunate as it is, we had to remove the feral dog, to prevent Patreon from shutting our page down completely. We did try to jump ship to Subscribestar, for much more freedom, but that's been a slow process.
The current plan is to finish up the last touches on the completely redone first level, and release the build to show all of the improvements, how far we've come.
If you ask me, as someone who was a fan of the project BEFORE being brought on as a dev, I've been a tad bit impatient, myself. I want to see the new content that's been added in a playable state. I haven't been given any specific deadlines, but I have been assured that it's nearly ready for a big release. After the first level is republished, we've already got the groundwork in place for the next full levels, and the engine built to handle it. It's just a matter of putting it all together.
It's in builds distributed through SubscribeStar, I believe.i don't suppose the dog would make a comeback towards the games final build would it? or is it perma gone?
*sighs*It's in builds distributed through SubscribeStar, I believe.
Sadly, that build is a paid subscription build...*sighs*
Alright, who's got a Subscribestar account?
But still only the same level we've been playing for ten years...
And apparently they're reworking it again. The same thing they've been doing since inception: redoing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Ugly and disappointing....so we are in the process of reworking the level for a brand new, MUCH better experience.
No way! So I guess another update is coming in 2030? (Maybe with even fewer features this time.)And apparently they're reworking it again. The same thing they've been doing since inception. Ugly and disappointing.
